Baron Von Munchausen a great movie? Not really. It stands with the Bros. Grimm as being an Ok. film, but not his best. Time Bandits, 12 Monkeys and Brazil are his true gifts to the universe. Now he has to make Terry Pratchetts Disc World into a film. It would be hillarious! Happy birthday Terry!

Happy birthday TG! You’re one of my all time favorite directors!
Anyway, thanks for mentioning BRAZIL. Its one of the best (and underrated) movies of all time. Jonathan Pryce will always remind me of his character in BRAZIL. Very fine performance too!

Better TG movie than the very good ‘Brazil’ is the great ‘Baron von Munchausen’ (sic?). Great tall tale their, plus, he introduced us to the young Uma. With TG as an ex-patriot (former citizen of the US) I will always question his leaving for the UK.

Tideland wasn’t beautiful but pointless, it was just plain pointless! I can’t believe I sat through an entire hour of that terrible child actor running amok through sets stolen from a Tim Burton film before ejecting the DVD. Here’s to hoping that Terry considers retirement on his birthday!
