Rosie O'Donnell fends off eagle attack

Rosie O’Donnell has gotten in a lot of feuds as of late. But as far as we can remember, none of them have involved fowl. Unless you count Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s chicken-like cowardice. (Oooh, girl, yes I did!!)

Rosie has posted on her blog some behind-the-scenes footage from an upcoming episode of Nip/Tuck.Watch as her recurring character, Dawn Budge, runs afowl (I can’t stop!) of a very angry bird. One thing’s for certain: Bill O’Reilly will have a new screen saver by the end of the day.

So last year they had her character brought back because she was attacked by some sort of blade-wielding motorcycle thieves who sliced off her ear. Now an eagle?
I know this is Nip/Tuck, and I actually really enjoyed her on the show last year, but this sounds like it’s a bit much. Then again, who am I kidding? I’m gonna be watching on Tuesday to see for myself.

I LOVE ROSIE O’DONNELL!! She is the best and I feel bad for anyone who doesn’t see how great she is. A beautiful example and inspiration. She’s one of a kind!

Does anyone else get the sense that Stephen Colbert dreamed this?

Hmmm, I may need a name change. I love Rosie, but don’t feel the need to use all caps. People can’t hear me shouting that way.

“Elizabeth Hasselbeck’s chicken-like cowardice”? Isn’t the fact that she was constantly fighting with Rosie O’Donnell proof of exactly the opposite? If anything, I don’t think its chicken to take on an ideology bully. Whether you agree with Hasselbeck or not, you have to give the girl points for standing up for ideas that she knows 100% of the audience does not advocate. That’s courage.

I agree with Joey JoJo about being a chicken…NO WAY!!!!….I think Rosie has gone off the edge since 9/11…and I LOVE Elizabeth Hasselback!

It is Colbert’s eagle. It couldn’t hold up a picket sign. So it had to moonlight on Nip/Tuck.

To stephen2: You don’t need a name change… and there is nothing wrong with caps as long as you use it sparingly… which I do, trust me.

yo Joey Jo Jo, I agree. Elizabeth is definitely not a coward. Lame, Tim Stack.

  • stephen2

That’s fine then. No one likes caps overdose. I just can’t stand it when people are like I DONT CARE WHAT THE HATERS SAY THIS _____ IS AWESOME!!! That irks me so.

  • stephen2

Also, I think Joy and Sherri more cowardly than Elizabeth or Rosie. Those two say what they feel, despite others’ opinions, and the other two just crack jokes. Whatever, I don’t watch after Rosie left anyway. Bring on Kathy Griffin and kick Babs off, then I’ll return.

Elizabeth Hasselbeck….Courage????? Please tell me you are joking. She does not have the mental capacity to have an original thought. All she does is spew back the retoric she hears from her beloved shows. But when asked to defend or explain her position, she gets defensive and picks a fight to deflect from exhibiting her ignorance.

The problem I had with Rosie was that she wouldn’t listen. She felt like her opinion was the ONLY opinion. Trust me – I don’t agree with Elizabeth and her right-wing positions on everything, but I do believe she has a right to her (incorrect) opinions! :-)

Thank You Joey. The clueless self-righteousness of hard left View fans astounds me. Although at this point, it probably shouldn’t. Relativism has truly fried their brains to a point of no return. Up is down, black is white, etc. And I disagree with neo cons like Elizabeth on a lot. However Hasselbeck’s opponents don’t just disagree, they bully.
