With this post, we bid adieu to comedian Michael Showalter, who concludes his stint as PopWatch celebrity guest blogger by recounting his adventure’s on his virtual promotional tour of cyberspace today.
I’m wrapping my day of world tour blogging. I’ve been all over theplace,even on a sports blog called Deadspinand this great place in Kentucky. Even whisked by Defamer in LA,which said I was blogging about "MTV’s bisexual love odyssey" for EWbecauseof the writer’s strike. No no. It’s because of my brand new album, whichdropped today called Sandwiches & Cats.
Anyway, I must say, I’m tired, I’m hungry, and I need to prepare towitnessAmerica’s Next Top Model. Goodbye, PopWatch, and thank you.
Two thing: 1) If it’s called “Sandwiches & Cats,” why does the album cover say “Cats & Sandwiches”? 2) Top Model is on Wednesdays. So you might need 24 hours to prepare for it, or maybe you’re just putting it out there to appeal to the EW crowd…either way, it’s on Wednesdays.
Good catch, mscisluv. First, we were unwittingly working with old album-cover art; the current and correct photo is now posted. Second, perhaps Mr. Showalter is watching “Top Model” on DVR. Or perhaps you’re right and it really does take a full day to prepare for the awesomeness that is “Top Model.”

I rang this schmo up at a Barnes and Noble, recognized him from the incredible Stella, and thought I’d let him know how much I liked him. He was incredibly rude and curt with me. I figured since he’s a NOBODY he’d like getting recognized. Apparently not.

If Popwatch is going to give unknowns a chance at guest blogging, why not give the gig to someone who’ll entertain? I propose that Popwatch give Furry_Tom a day to guest blog. My guess is that he’ll have us all in stitches.
