Agreed that she’s awesome. But she’s a lot like Steve Buscemi in that I love to see her in a gadjillion in one roles. Whenever she comes on I say “hey, it’s that chica!” (any other Popwatch fans remember “hey it’s that guy”?)
This actress is great in character roles and just needs to find her niche. She’d play well in a three camera sitcom or mockumentary style show. Maybe “Curb”? She would have been perfect on Arrested Development…
Illeana is great. Grace of My Heart is my favorite film. Check out her funny youtube series Illeanarama too. I didn’t see Action but I agree she’s a bit quirky etc. and a darker type of role would be perfect.
Don’t forget that on Seinfeld she played George’s girlfriend who was so permanently tanned she was dark orange. She was the girl George had an affair with to get his other girlfriend to break up with him, but both girls wanted to share him.
