1. Life. I love this show. The main characters are damaged and struggling with their own demons — it makes them real. Life became, halfway through the pilot episode, my first new appointment TV show of the season.
2. Chuck. This became my second new appointment show of the season. Bring your funny bone and your suspension of disbelief, though.
3. Television Without Pity (TWoP). This is one of my favourite websites on which to hang out. I can talk on the forums with fellow viewers about what is good or bad with our favourite shows (or favourite shows to snark upon). http://www.televisionwithoutpity.com/
Enjoy!
1. Life – please give this great show a boost
2. Chuck – it is light and goofy but has a great deal of heart to it – it is nice to see siblings have a warm, loyal bond
3. Supernatural – cute boys, muscle car and mullet rock – this is what you shoud be watching on Thursdays
My #1 Must List TV show is Journeyman. It’s the only show I watch live and I’ve saved all the eps on my DVR. Also like Life and Pushing Daisies.
I heard that “LIFE” is getting an axe??? I hope it’s not true cuz the show is great and Sarah Shahi is fantastic!
My new fave is Journeyman and its refreshingly thoughtful take on time travel. Great acting, compelling storytelling, Kevin McKidd and Moon Bloodgood—what’s not to like?
After a dissapointing season, this year has launched great shows. My love for these three shows is similar to when Freaks and Geeks was launched.
1. Life – Excellent police drama with a great main character (and the awesome Damian Lewis is rocking the part) and, world of wonders! a sympathetic and strong woman in Dani Reese.
2. Pushing Daisies – There are no words to describe this show. Just happiness on crack!
3. Chuck – Showing that Josh Schwartz is not a one trick pony.
EW, show some love for Life!
The man I know will help me through the writers strike, Charlie Rose. His low key show never fails to inform or entertain.
The reason why you see Life listed so often is because the fans over at Television Without Pity (TWoP) are telling other fan members to bomb this list. It’s skewered, obviously.
Anyway, nothing can touch the beautiful, whimsical and hysterical PUSHING DAISIES. It is by the best show out there. May be the best networked TV has ever put out.
1. PUSHING DAISIES!!!!
2. Carpoolers
3. Dirty Sexy Money
Life! Pushing Daisies!
1. JOURNEYMAN – This is a brilliant show and it deserves a bigger audience. Probably the best new show this year.
2. LIFE – I was late getting into this and am pleased to see a lot of other fans of it here. I don’t usually watch police dramas (I’m more of a science-fiction geek) but the conspiracy angle on this keeps me coming back for more.
3. PRISON BREAK – Why don’t people seem to like this anymore? The third season a brilliant return to form after the poor second season. I can’t wait to find out if Michael gets out of Sona!
