Just Because: A Taste of 'Poison'

Why? Because it makes me smile every time I watch it.

See? You’re smiling, right? Happy Thursday, y’all. (Oh, and Scrubs is on tonight.)

On tonight? Sure a new episode is on, but I try to watch 3 Scrubs episodes each day – one on local channel 20 and two on Comedy Central. My husband thinks I am a little wacko.

  • EMB

    Best Scrubs moment EVER!

  • Laurie

I heart Bel Biv Devoe. Oh for it to be 1991 again. Go Brown Bear go!

  • Robert

I didn’t even need to hit play to smile – just thinking of it makes me smile.

  • annie

Aww, that made my hectic day!! One thing I am not liking about college is that I never seem to have time for TV anymore!! Sitting in front of a computer screen watching Scrubs/Bones does not equal cuddling with a pillow on a couch.

  • bee

One of my favorite, all time moments on Scrubs.

  • Kathleen

I’m with Robert – don’t even have to hit play. :) I answer a mental health crisis line, and whenever I’m having a particularly rough day at work I pull up my bookmarks and click the first link; then Turk lip-synchs all of it away.
    Between phone calls, of course.

Patty — you are not wacko. As far as I’m concerned, a day without Scrubs is like a day without sunshine. I have to stay up until 2 a.m. if I want to get my fix, so I have to break out the DVDs every so often. I’m dreading a writer’s strike because I’m afraid that’ll cut short this final season, and we may never see an ending.

Oh, thank you for posting this! I have now watched it three times and laughed just as hard as the first time I saw it. Can you just permanently link it to the top of the blog? Yeah? Awesome. Blog five!

  • Sadie

This very scene got me re-hooked on the show.

  • Em

They need to somehow figure out a way to get Turk dancing in every episode. I could watch him dance all day.

  • BB

Brilliant. I LOVE me some Donald.

  • CBD

This clip brings tears to my eyes every time I watch it.

    BEST CLIP EVER!

  • MM

Hilarious and well worth the break I took to watch!! Thanks for posting.

I still have this Scrubs episode on my DVR!! I love it that much. I try to do the dance steps at the club when this song comes on. haha.

  • Crystal

Oh yes, this is at the top of my itunes library. Never ceases to be awesome.

Classic Scrubs moment. One of my favorites. Just the screen shot made me smile :)
I love me some Scrubs and Chocolate Bear.

  • TV Addict

I had that episode saved on my DVR for over a year and watched that clip DOZENS of times. I finally erased it when I realized it was on YouTube.

  • actingup

    HILARIOUS. The show is brilliant.

  • Vlada

What makes that scene even more awesome is that Donald Faison made up the moves on the spot.

  • Katy

Whenever I hear More than a Feeling, I think “Where do I know that song from?” Then I picture the air band and smile everytime.

  • Elizabeth

Thank you Marc! I always wondered why Donald doesn’t get the credit he deserves on this show – maybe he should look for some indie movie and accompanying soundtrack…

  • orville

This is one of my favorite Scrubs moments. Faison has moves! The only thing to beat it is one particular Dr. Cox rant involving Kelso taking over in hell. I’m going to miss this show so much.

  • Amber

I watch this clip all the time, it is one of my favorites.

  • Ceballos

Love this clip and I love the episode with the air band!
The only bad feeling I get when I watch stuff like this is the rage I have to supress that the Emmy (or even the Golden Globes) have never seen fit to nominate Faison or John C. McGinley for their BRILLIANT work. In fact, the show or Zach Braff didn’t even get any recognition for major awards until after “Garden State” came out. By then, the show was already on the “sorta decline”, though it’s still one of the five best comedies on TV.

I love this clip! I seriously watch it every time I’m stressed out at work, and it never fails to but a smile on my face!
