I heart Tim Riggins.
I think the big loss this season is Landry’s sense of humor. Hopefully the murder subplot will disappear (a la so many melodramatic plots of the O.C., former owners of the crowd I think the writers are now going for) and Landry will get back to his old self, members Only jacket tips and all.

The show has been back for…what, 4 episodes? Isn’t this a little early to be so judgmental? I don’t mind a little bit of dark drama, especially since I assume the show will soon become more lighthearted now that Coach is back in town.
Also, I highly doubt the murder subplot is over.

First off, thank you to Ken for doing this Mini TV Watch, I do look forward to it every week, hopefully it becomes a regular thing so all us FNL fans can gather ’round and discuss. Second, was this the first time since the premiere that we saw a Saracen/Landry scene? Sure felt like it, and I think outside the Taylor household, that relationships feels the most genuine. It also gives us most of our doses of witty humor, so more Saracen/Landry please!

Has anyone in Dillon notice that Tim Riggins has been missing for a week? Did Coach Taylor even think for a second “Gee where’s Riggins at????” The ONLY problem I have with that storyline.

Loved the show in Season One. No episode this year has really worked for me, though. Am holding out hope they pull a Bobby Ewing on “Dallas” reset and have Coach Taylor wake up to find that the last few episodes were all just a bad dream.

Wow. What a hateful review. I think that, hands down, this is the best show on TV, and any little slip makes some fans go nuts.
This is a show about people who make mistakes. I grew up in a small town like this, and let me tell you, people live off of eachother’s drama. This season is just as good as the first, but it can’t seem to win. I’ve never seen a show so closely watched for errors.

Hey, as a ‘negative’poster, believe me, I’ll stick with the show. Normally I never watch TV on Fridsy except for ESPN, but I’ll watch FNL all the way. I stand by what I said, though. I would like some of the funny banter that was a staple of the show its first year….
