1. Across the Universe Soundtrack- I still get chills every time I hear this album–the beautiful arrangements and strong voices give these classics powerful new meaning. My mom fell in love with the soundtrack before she even saw the movie!
2. The World Series- With the Red Sox in it, you know it will be filled with enough heart-stopping drama to make up for the Sopranos going off the air.
3. Gossip Girl- Cruel Intentions meets The OC… must I say more??
1. CSI Loving the Grissom/Sarah story line.
2. Bo Bice’s new CD “See The Light”. That guy just rocks !
3. Peter Robinson’s new Inspector Banks book, “Friend of the Devil”. One of the best detective series ever.
1) Kristin Chenoweth on “Pushing Daisies”. Bursting into “Hopeslessly Devoted to You”, bursting into song with Ellen Greene on a car trip, or just pining over the piemaker, she’s fantabulous!
2) The Luke and Noah story on “As the World Turns”. After the all-too-typical soap wackiness the past few weeks, they’re back to one hell of a love story.
3) City of Heroes/City of Villains. What better way to celebrate Halloween than to dress up as your own superhero or supervillain and knock on doors not knowing if you’ll get delightful treats or deadly tricks? The Halloween Event is on!
1. Life – so maybe I’m the only person in the Universe who watches this show on NBC but I think it’s absolutely fantastic!
2. Rome – just started watching it on DVD and it blows my mind!
3. Trying to see all of the Oscar-watch movies while they’re in the theatre – yes, I do this – yes, it’s incredibly hard but I will persevere.
Supernatural season three on The CW is a must see – a too often overlooked, wonderful show.
Low by Flo Rida – It’s the catchiest song sing Rihanna’s Umbrella!

Best-Selling Author Rasheed Clark and his debut novel, “Stories I Wouldn’t Tell Nobody But God” and “Cold Summer Afternoon.” Two must read novels.
Oh, wow, I forgot to give you Rasheed Clark’s website address http://www.RasheedClark.com. He has the most nominations by an author for a first novel.
The new Fergie video for “Clumsy” is so good. It’s funny and original. An actual effort was put into this clip, instead of the boring videos we see from most artists these days.

Jane Horrocks chewing up the scenery in Masterpiece Theatre’s “The Amazing Mrs. Pritchard”. Fierce! PBS Sundays
If there is one good thing that came out of this writer’s strike, I started reading again. I just finished a great book entitled “Cold Summer Afternoon” by Rasheed Clark that I found on Amazon.com. It plays out as part murder mystery and part love story as you find out the secrets that will drive one woman to commit murder. But it doesn’t stop there. So let the strike linger on, I will curl up with a good book. I wonder why it was never featured in EW.
