I too was wondering if Bryce really meant to send the e-mail to Chuck the first time I watched the pilot. But after I re-watched it online, I thought about the question specific to Chuck that came with the e-mail to open it. So Bryce must have meant to send it to him. But that brings up something else I wondered: wouldn’t the e-mail still be in his inbox? If my computer was destroyed, I could still just go to another computer to check my e-mails.
God, I love Adam Baldwin! I know it won’t happen, but I want his character to end up being gay. I know, I know, crazy sounding, but he’s always played a badass with a side of fruit anyway! Jayne, Hamilton on ANGEL, and even Chuck now.
TREMENDOUSLY impressed with the show. I’m a huge fan. Laughs, excitement, could not be more happy I decided to give it a shot. I’m in for the long haul, baby. I LOVE this show. Great cast, great chemistry…wow! Well done, NBC!
Seriously, Chuck name-dropped Bob Ross, so he’s pretty much won me over.
And Captain Awesome without his shirt on was…you know
I just have a suggestion for the EW bloggers. When stating an opinion don’t speak for all of us. Only speak for yourself. If you felt that the 2nd episode was stale…fine. But don’t group us along with it. Me, personally, I LOVED the 2nd episode. It was fun.
So, just take that advice. Thanks.
I liked the second episode, but it was the worst of the three so far in my opinion. Also, I like Sarah, and I think she and Chuck have good chemistry. Hopefully it develops into more soon. As for Chuck and his sister, I find their relationship to be very brother-sisterly and not at all romantic.
To Cam: If he was using an email client such as Outlook or Thunderbird, the message would be deleted from the web-server (if he had that option selected) when he opened the email.
Was that Little Chino from Dexter as one of the henchmen? If so, that’s 2 Dexter people on Chuck. If Chuck can get a mini-TV Watch, why can’t Dexter?
LOVE, LOVE this show. Funny and charming. But just a a pet peeve of mine – chemistry does not necessarily have to translate into romance. It’s just what makes two actors click in a scene, whether they playing friends, siblings or lovers. I think Chuck needs a love triangle (NOT with his sister. Um…eww). Maybe that’ll get the blonde to do something other than mope and throw a punch.
Cheyenne: Thank you for the explaination
The brother-sister relationship on the show brings me to tears every week. Seriously. My eyes well up just thinking about the first episode, when Ellie was helping Chuck get ready for his date…I forgot what she said, but it was so sweet and touching. Part of the fun of the show is that his family and friends don’t know what’s going on, but I would definitely like to see them get in on it somehow in the future.
