OK, I find it unethical that ABC (Disney owned) allows the Osmond family to so obviously manipulate public opinion.
Hear me out…Disney owns the ABC network, the original Osmonds started out back in the 60′s at Disneyland, Marie is making dolls that are 2b distributed via Disney, Donny is able to now make personal comments nightly on Disneys ABC’s Entertainment Tonight, The (ahem) dramatic fainting stint from Marie on live tv that had us praying all night lol, ya right, PR stint or real???, with ET over-reporting this and even more Osmond stories every night (gag), also a timely Osmond family reunion on the Oprah show even though the DWTS competition has not finished. (wonder how many votes Oprah swung to the Osmonds), “Oh” and whats this…what a surprise… the Osmonds have a national tour coming up. Go figure.
This Osmond stint on DWTS is part of a big Public Relations blitz/gimmick that I believe is being used to catapulte the big Osmond tour…Brilliant reality tv…not.

I hate that the scores are 50% fan based. And hope the judges get busy judging and not wringing their hands.
No question it’s a tough competition to come from near zero experience to dancing (?) in front of 20million viewers. But they all knew what they signed on for.
Helio gets my vote because of his intensity and the great choreography Julianne puts together. They could
go…all…the…way!! and I hope they do.
I was surprised that the women snagged all the big scores. They were good, but not THAT good.

I really think that Marie Osmond is getting way to much publicity. She really is not that good. Pay attention to all the other contestants and with the exception of Wanye Newton and that billionaire she is actually on of the worst. Come on America and the judges!
