Not bad but not great. Jack was way off, and Jerry didn’t have a single funny moment. I’m really worried that Alec Baldwin doesn’t want to be on the show anymore and has decided to phone it in. If Jack ain’t back on track soon, this show will sink QUICKLY.

Thought the episode was a good, not a great, but a good start for the season. One thing though. How could anyone bash the Source Awards episode!? Kenneth stealing the rappers nose, Tracy drunk as a 12 year old, “I’m gonna eat your family”. That’s the show that got me watching 30 Rock.

I was a little disappointed with this episode, the whole thing with Seinfeld felt a little bit too gimmicky. Especially the negotiation between him and Jack in which it became an issue of “$X million to charity”–I wish they hadn’t let the show become a public forum for how awesome he was, the show is too awesome to do that. Now if Jack, instead of bawling like a baby, like you said, had returned to his assertive, alpha-male self when confronted with negotiation (my favorite episode from last season, no doubt), I wouldn’t have minded so much.
