I loved the episode, though slightly less than the premiere. I think the show balances all of its elements well, but I do hope the story moves on next week and expands the plot. And I was also confused about the gun comment…I had no idea what the point of that comment was.
I liked the episode. i especially liked when in the flashes of the intersect he mentioned Oceanic 815 a clear reference to Lost.
Does anyone wonder why Bryce’s funeral was in LA? Wasn’t he from CT? Didn’t he work in DC? Or, did everyone zip to the Northeast for the funeral, only to make it back in time for work and dinner at the hot dog stand?
The point of the gun comment was that he was trying to make Chuck falter and drop the gun by reminding him that he had never actually held a real gun before and it was heavier than he thought it was.
I’m enjoying Chuck. There’s a lot of suspension of disbelief but I find it kind of charming. I found myself falling in love with BSG a couple of years ago so that’s no problem for me.
I think the cast is shiny and has good hair and is generally likeable.
The production value and overexposed film remind me a LOT of Alias and I’m pretty sure Bryce’s funeral was held at the same one where Sydney once eulogized Emily Sloane.
Uh, anyway. I like Chuck. I think it’s silly but enjoyable and now that I see how they roll in terms of plot/ plotholes, I know what to expect and won’t expect airtight, uber-realistic stories.
so, we all know that Oceanic 815 was brought down by that magnet on the island thing. so does that mean Chucks info in da head is not all correct? kind of like WMD’s in the iraq?
Terrific episode. My wife and I are big fans after two episodes. Love that they pimped out the Nerd Herd mobile…big laughs, great characters, can’t wait till next week.
Are people actually taking Adam Baldwin seriously? I look at his performance as perfect dead pan, which makes the gun line absolutely hysterical. I think he’s one of my favorite aspects of the show, to be honest. And I like how, at the end, it was implied that he actually about the ultimate fate of Chuck.

I knew that “Oceanic Flight 815″ sounding very familiar. I so miss “Lost”. Anywho, great episode. I don’t know why some people expect the 2nd episode to be has fast paced as the first. It takes time, peeps. It takes time.
Chuck is da best!
… In my country is not NBC, but I’we watched this online at http://watchchuck.com
