So… Jessica Biel as Wonder Woman? She’s certainly hot enough and athletic enough. Also, one-of-the-guys enough to hold her own on screen with fellow Justice Leaguers Batman and Superman. Acting-wise, jury is probably still out. Is she regal enough to play an Amazonian princess? Probably not, but then, who is? C’mon, fanboys and fangirls, it’s Lasso of Truth time, so weigh in below.

I think she’d be great. See Blade: Trinity
Kate Beckinsale would be great as Wonder Woman.
How about Rosario Dawson, Gabrielle Union or any other woman who looks as if she has eaten this month. Jessica Biel looks as if she has problems just lifting her fork to her lips.
Uh, Welles… Have you ever SEEN Jessica Biel?! I doubt anyone would accuse her of being too skinny. She more muscular than Brandon Routh!

As for her playing WW? I don’t mind. As long as they cast her Blade partner Ryan Reynolds as Flash and Smallville’s Tom Welling as Superman, I’ll be waiting in line with my $9 starting tomorrow!
Seriously, can we just give up on the idea of making this movie?? It’s going to be lousy no matter who you cast in the role, the character just isn’t that interesting.
She can’t act. She’s just eye candy. Give it to Beckinsale.
She won’t work. She doesn’t have that inner strength of Lynda Carter. If they seriously wanted to make the movie right, they’d cast Gina Torres. Sadly, it won’t happen because she’s “too old” (which is, she’s not in her 20s) and she’s not white with black hair. Never mind that she is pretty much an Amazon.
No.
UGH. No JB for this role. I think someone older – I always though Lucy Lawless was totally right for this one, coming off the fierce Xena days, but who knows if she is still in that kind of shape?
I also sort of like the girl from Transformers – M. Fox, I think her name is. She’s got that kick a** look in her eye.
Sarah Michelle Gellar! I heard that she was up for the role or wanted it at one point in time.
Blah- besides, maybe it is because I came up watching Lynda Carter, but isn’t wonder woman supposed to have hips?! Not sure who I would cast though.
No, no, no. Truthfully I just don’t get what the big deal is about Jessica Biel. Kate Beckinsale is perfect. Looks-wise, Nadia Bjorlin would come very close to Lynda Carter (though her acting ability is questionable – she does come from Days of Our Lives). Still, at least it isn’t Scarlett Johannson.
Lauren Graham would be perfect! I’m sure she could get a little more muscle-y.
I hope it’s just a rumor…
This one gets a thumbs-up in my book.
Way better than many former front-runners. Sandra Bullock and Sarah Michelle Gellar would not have worked at all.
Biel may not be perfect, but she’s the best “name” actress I can think of for the role.
And while Kate Beckinsale is arguably a better actress, I don’t think she’s as good a physical match for WW as Biel is.
