Realistically Faith still has a hold on the American heartland. Look how big her tours turn out, especially with Tim McGraw.
“So commme on, commmme on, commmme onnnnnn…
And KICK IT! Kick another little…”
    Nevermind.

  • maya

    That’s Faith Hill? Seriously???

  • alm034

Doesn’t matter. Football fans completely ignore that part of the show anyways.

  • Ceballos

alm is right…though the shrillness of Pink’s song last year was pretty hard to ignore.

  • Stephen

I don’t care, I just love her after she confronted that woman in concert for grabbing her hubby’s balls. Beautiful! and dang funny.

  • Marci

    I hate Faith Hill.

  • Daddy

“Marci, Marci, Marci.” (I wish your name was Marsha.) Hate is such a harsh word.

  • Tara

Faith Hill? or…Mariah Carey? Seriously what happened to her in that picture?

  • Matthew

I mean Faith Hill wouldn’t be my first choice, but what’s so wrong with her being chosen?

  • Jer

“Hey Pac-Man, don’t go to Vegas. Kiss the football life good-bye. Hey Pac-Man, don’t go to Vegas…”
    No?… Too Soon?

  • kathy

That picture doesn’t even look like her…at all.
why not make it a duet between her and Tim??

  • Ceballos

Yeah, everyone here is right…that person in the photo looks less like Faith Hill and more like the Olsen twins’ mom or something.

  • roel

THAT’S faith hill?! i didn’t know she was latin!

  • Blake

Is that Faith Hill? Really? She looks like a member of the Pussycat Dolls…

  • wtf

Faith Hill= boring. Was every artist with real talent busy that day. How can the NFL think this is a good thing.

  • Dinosaur

If this means I get to look at Faith Hill every Sunday night instead of Pink, or Hank Williams Jr. … I’m all for it.
    Keep the Faith.

  • peach

Is it just me or has Faith Hill gotten a little crazy lately? Ever since that Carrie Underwood incedent and that wacky Oprah interview, she just seems a little off. And in this photo she looks like a Telemundo star.

  • Rev. O.J. Flow

That’s awesome. Because Pink’s Sunday Night Football theme song didn’t suck nearly enough. Glad to see NBC upping the ante in 2007.

  • Steve

Faith Hill looks Latina not country in this pic

  • mike

But, the three best words are Sunday Night Football.

  • Tasia

Regarding the comments of Faith Hill’s Hispanic persuasion, I thought the same thing until I saw the following picture which appears to be from the same shoot

I think what makes her look different is the lack of enourmous bright teeth

“I can feel the pigskin floating in the air, the football field gets me that way.
All my thoughts just seem to settle on the game, and I’ve never even been to Green Bay!
I can feel your D, it’s washing over me and suddenly you’re running down the field.
There’s nothing left to prove, baby all you need is a TD.
Caught up in the huddle, a slow and steady handoff.
Baby isn’t that the way the gridiron’s sposed to be.
I can feel you sweep. Juuuuuuuust sweep…”

  • GingerCat

I think this photo is part of the shoot she did for the cover of “Fireflies.” It’s the same outfit, anyway. Her hair is darker than usual but I think it’s just the lighting that makes her skin look darker.
Anyway, she covers Lori McKenna songs, so I can’t hate on her. I like her, actually. I wasn’t aware that Sunday Night Football was such a hallowed musical showcase that her presence would be some kind of disgrace.
