Paris Hilton has launched her fashion line, and here’s the thing: Not all the clothes are as hein as this piece. (That’s one of several T-shirts featuring Paris’ face, should you not be moved to click).
Of course, there’s enough satin and sequins in her collection to clothe Debbie Reynolds for a year. (There’s also stripper couture — couldn’t you see Nomi wearing this in Showgirls — and something Tara Reid probably already owns.) But I’d wear this if I had to, even though I feel like metallics have been in for so long that they should soon be out. (Right?)
So would you wear any of Paris’ pieces? And who actually has bought a piece of celebrity-designed clothing in their lifetime? I’ll admit that if I had a favorite baseball team these days, I would check out Alyssa Milano’s MLB-sanctioned line touch. And yes, that should be lowercased. Ugh.

Oh, c’mon. Metallics? Sooo dated. And t-shirts w/the Paris face? Ewww. Did you see the twisted seam jeans? So dated, it’s not even retro. Whatev
I wanted to buy something from SJP’s line “Bitten”, but couldn’t find anything I really liked. SIGH. I do like her perfume, tho.
God – those are hideous! I don’t even know what you would call those clothes – flattering definitely doesn’t come to mind. Who would look good in those outfits? Not even Paris herself – Half of them look like she took two corners of a yard of fabric and tied them in a bow and then said “voila!”
You have to pay money for that? Um, pass thanks. When I first looked at that ugly yellow dress the words “satiney” and “tank” meshed together to form a not so nice word that describes the whole line.
Would I buy any of that stuff?
Depends.
Am I dressing up as a “ho” for halloween this year?
The thing about Paris is, when she has a new venture, she says “It’s what I’ve always wanted to do.” Whether it be perfume, movies, or music. I’m surprised she didn’t tell Larry King, “Jail was fine. It was what I always wanted to do anyway.”
That stuff looks really bad. I wonder if Walmart will take the line once Kitson realizes it isn’t working.
My sister actually owns pieces from SJP’s line, and she really likes it a lot. They are functional and affordable as well as they don’t look cheap and could pass for something she bought at store with more expensive items. I don’t know if I would buy something from PH’s line though. Who wears ’satiny’ clothes made out of polyester??
I own a couple pieces of SJP’s Steve & Barry’s line – I like them, and I’m cheap. I wanted to buy something Stella McCartney when I was in NYC a couple years ago, but the cheapest thing in the store was an $88 t-shirt with attached ’80s-day-glo-checkered suspenders. Yuck!
Oh god! not another celeb clothing line…did you know you can buy Baby Phat at the dollar store? I swear, these celeb signature stuff is going to end up at the dollar store!
I stumbled accross some Justin Timberlake Jeans, and while I do not really buy celebrity clothes, they were really nice!
Well, someone’s gotta fill the void Kathie Lee Gifford left.
No, I wouldn’t buy any of it. But mostly I’m confused as to how this is her saving the world like she promised to.
Does owning Ford or Armani count?
Unless I want to look like a two bit tranny-hooker (Halloween is comming up) I think I’ll pass. As for Paris designing this stuff she can barley spell let alone draw.
Hooker-wear? No, I think that’s being generous. Most of those tops and dresses look like they’re the top halves of mumus bought at a garage sale.
Most of the clothes look so cheaply made, I don’t get how she can charge that much for them and get away with it.
Well someone must be buying it… or at least looking. Last Friday when the line posted on the website I couldn’t see it because the site kept crashing. As someone that loves sparkles and metallics, even I would not buy anything from this line! There have been some good celeb lines though: Madonna @H&M, Proenza Schouler @ Target, and Mandy Moore’s Mblem line is alright… anyone want to add more decent celeb clothing lines??
Oh hell no!
What do you mean? These are the clothes the prisoners will wear in her parole halfway house.
Didn’t she say her stint in jail made her want to use her celebrity status for good? A clothing line isn’t exactly what I had in mind for a philanthropic venture.
Lordy…is there no end in sight for this Paris Hilton media hype/junk…I am so..o..o sick of her.
Wasn’t Popwatch boycotting ph? Was it just wishful thinking. Please start now.
Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B., though high-end, is incredible stuff. I have bought a few of her scarves and a t-shirt, since that’s all that she makes for men. I suggest you look at it before you dismiss it as a “celebrity fashion line.”
The plaid thing is the only thing on there I might actually concede to wearing, though I still wouldn’t get it on principle. I saw something about Amanda Bynes having a clothing line somewhere and that stuff actually looked rather nice.
I’m hoping all these celeb fashion lines cannabalize each other.
It’s nice to see Paris Hilton doing something other than getting drunk, flashing her undies all over town and bedding every guy she comes in contact with.
With all that said, I’d rather vomit than wear her fashion line.
Ariana– Amanda Bynes line “Dean” is at Steve and Barry’s– same as SJPs. I assume its affordable like Bitten.
I wish interesting celebs would create fashion lines. If Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter ever decide to make clothes, I’m there.
I hear that “The Velvet Underground” are going to use her face embellished t-shirt for their new album cover.
Will the be the location of Paris’s new SEX tape???
I wonder if Paris might put a web cam in her new pad for convenience so she can have a running documentary of her escapades. If she gives it all up to the public maybe we will stop caring!!! I found some interesting property info at several sights

Oh By the way she paid like $800,000 TOO much the filthy rich little tramp!!!
It must be horrible to wake up every morning knowing you’ll never want for anything and have the tedious task of searching for something ‘meaningful’ to do with your privileged life.
Girl, put it to better use by spending time and cash on the underprivileged of the world. And do it quietlyl
