    To avoid fainting, keep repeating, “It’s only a movie…it’s only a movie…”
From “The Last House on the Left”

Maybe it’s cheasy but it still totally gave me shivers everytime I looked at a poster with the words “Something Wicked This Way Comes” for Harry Potter & The Prizoner of Azkaban…of course I’m also a complete Potterhead

AJ, well it’s not cheesy it’s Ray Bradbury.

    • Carmilla

      Actually, it’s Shakespeare, from Macbeth:

By the pricking of my thumbs
      Something wicked this way comes

Mozz— I LOVE Young Sherlock Holmes. Any time it is on, I drop everything to watch it. The young Watson looks like he could be Harry Potter’s father!!!
“There’s A Good Reason Some Talent Remains Undiscovered” Waiting for Guffman

I seem to remember that Die Hard’s
“Yipee Kay-yay-Mother-F*cker” was a big hit in its day. Not sure if it’s the best, but I do remember a lot of folks saying that phrase for the rest of the summer.

jcarla & AJ – Actually, it goes back a bit further to Shakespeare – Macbeth – “By the pricking of my thumbs / Something wicked this way comes.”
    Still a good line…

The “Say Anything” poster had two great lines on it, which I loved:
“To know Lloyd Dobler is to love him. Diane Court is about to get to know Lloyd Dobler.”
Then later: “It’s a Lloyd meets girl story.”

Im not so good at this kind of thing, but after reading the posts so far, my favorite is from Gregg, who posted, “Crime is the disease. Meet the cure.” Cobra. That’s awesomely hilarious!

I really like the original tag line for Lord of the Rings “You will find adventure, or it will find you”. And speaking of New Zealand, I have not seen Black Sheep but I love the tag line “There are millions of sheep in New Zealand…and they’re angry!”
