THE NUMBERS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES! It may be cool to dislike James Blunt but at the end of the day he sold in excess of 12 MILLION albums first time round, and 1973 is number 4 in the airplay charts before it’s even been released. The song isn’t about his conception, it’s about the opening of arguably one of the best niteclubs in the world: Pacha in Ibiza – where he spends a lot of his time (as he lives in the hills in Ibiza when he’s not touring). As someone cleverly put above; you’d be a sheep to follow the critics. News doesn’t seem to be news unless it’s bad; unlike Blunt’s music!
