What have you spent way too much time thinking about recently? Here’s why I’m asking: For the last 48 hours, I’ve been talking about Taylor Hanson’s triceps.
In truth, I first found them noteworthy a few months ago, when I stumbled onto this performance clip of Hanson from 2003. But it wasn’t until Tuesday, when I sat down with the band in-person to chat about their new album The Walk (out now) that I felt myself allot actual brain space to the muscles’ lasting image. I blame the fact that Taylor sat across from me, mindlessly playing with his right shirt sleeve and raising it to expose them. But perhaps it also didn’t help that at last night’s show at NYC’s Webster Hall, he wore a long-sleeved shirt that clung to them. (Even my plus-one Ian was forced to turn to me during the opening song and reluctantly acknowledge their greatness.)
Will my fleeting infatuation with Taylor’s upper body cloud the pieces you’ll be reading about the trio in EW and on EW.com in the coming weeks? No. Would I recommend Hanson’s new album, to which EW’s Leah Greenblatt gives a B+ in the current issue of the magazine, even if the release hadn’t given me a chance to ogle his guns at close range? Adrianna Costa’s, um…dresses on “On the Lot.” It’s the only reason to watch that unwatchable show. Seriously it is. I turn it on to see what she’s wearing, and then I change the channel. Really.

I’m probably not alone, but I’ve been thinking way too much about Harry Potter which leads me to think way too much about Daniel Radcliffe and my semi-inappropriate crush on him (I scored a 6 on the quiz) and what steps I intend to take to get him to fall in love with me (I am only three years older so it’s not too creepy).
Perfect timing for this post. Saw the first preview of Grease on Tuesday night and ever since, I find my mind wandering back to Max Crumm in his wee running shorts (when Danny joins the track team). We were sitting in the front row…and he has very nice legs.

I happened to receive the excellent “Little Children” from Netflix and see “Evening” within a couple weeks of each other. Since then, I have been transfixed by Patrick Wilson’s yummy gaze.
Chris Klein’s hair. Have had several run-ins with him around town as he is up in Western Mass lending support to his girlfriend while she summer-stocks it up. Didn’t give a second look to him or his greasy mop in any of the American Pies but in person? Follicular fabulousness.
Usher’s abs.
George Clooney’s smile. His eyes just light up.

Too easy- Michael Jackson’s nose. Ever since the first couple of cuts, I’ve been obsessed with dude’s nose!
I’ve always thought Angela Bassett had an amazing body and always admired how in shape she always looks. Why wasn’t she cast as Storm in the X men movies? She would have rocked in that role (pun not intended, but let’s roll with it anyway).
My BFF and I have spent the last 48 hours talking about all things Harry Potter and Alan Rickman.
You know in Newsies during that “Seize the Day” dance sequence on the streets when Christian Bale juts his chin up and punches the air. That moment is worn out on my video tape. The man has the jawline of a Greek god, and the best facial expressions of any actor in history. Best. Movie. Ever.
I can’t stop thinking about the Simpsons movie. I’m so excited! And I’m such a geek.
