kcholt68, I can’t speak for “Holiday” (not having seen it) but Cary Grant is definitely a rich slacker in “Philadelphia Story.” His laziness and lack of drive are frequently played off against George Kittredge, the uptight, self-made fiance. Go back and watch it again – it’s a terrific film!
you guys should do a spread/package where you list the funniest female comedians of today and see if you can get past five without continuously naming actresses from SNL. It would be cool if funny women of today finally got their due.
In terms of witty repartee, my hopes are on Amanda Peet and Lauren Graham — both of whom would be better age matches with Vince Vaughan than Lindsay LOHAN.
