I highly recommend a trip over to sceneunseenpodcast.com where you will find 2 very hip and entertaining industry insiders reviewing the latest movies. They’re intelligent, funny, irreverent, explicit and you just might learn something!

    1. Scene Unseen – it’s a brilliant and insightful podcast that gives a fresh perspective on new movies and tips you off to movies you may not be familiar with.
    2. Big Kev’s Geek stuff – Tons of info on all things geek (comics, movies, TV & toys)
    3. The Lost podcast w/Jay and Jack – 2 weekly podcasts (even during the off season) on everyones favorite island

I agree with the other people who wrote about scene unseen. It is the best movie podcast out there. Also a great rock podcast is the rock and roll geek show.

Wow, I’m late, too, but I thought I’d join in on the Scene Unseen recommendations. It is, without a doubt, the best movie review podcast/radio show out there. The site is http://www.sceneunseenpodcast.com and not only do they review a filom every week (along with some great DVD picks), but they also interview past and present figures in the industry from time to time. Quite insightful and very entertaining. That would be my top pick… and yes, my second and third, as well.

I would have to voice my vote for the following indispensable sources of great recommendations on the web:
    1) Thrillist.com — a cityguide to NY, LA, and San Fran that sifts through the crap to find the best stuff that these cities are hiding… kind of like Daily Candy for guys.
    2) SceneUnseen — already mentioned here many times, but very funny and no BS.

  • Danielle

1)SYTYCD (especially Wade Robeson’s killer choreography)
2)Harry Potter and Order of the Phoenix synchronicty with release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
3)Quasi-celebrity and “actual” celebrity flame-outs/train-wrecks which are better than any “reality TV” series(i.e. Paris Hilton, Kevin Federline, Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan etc., etc., etc.). Finally kids get to see that these people aren’t “role models”, they are just pathetic. And don’t ask me to feel sorry for them because of the pressures of the high-life they lead – I’d rather enjoy the bonfire of the vanities.

Big Kev’s Geek Stuff if I do say so myself. Cover just about everything from movies and games to toys and comics and ocassionally some tech.
