Well. I have a couple things to say.
First of all.. for some strange reason, I didn’t find this trailer that un-funny.. I actually laughed. I bet the movie itself isn’t that bad, either, it’s just some people have different senses of humor and/or are realllly picky or not goofy. Me and my friends, for instance, laugh at the silliest things.
Annd.. I think Robin Williams is hilarious, or at least, he doesn’t make me roll my eyes.
And finally, Mandy Moore has been pretty successful, I think it’s both horrible and strange that people think she hasn’t been doing well.. if you’ve seen her in Saved!, trust me, you’ll laugh and give her credibility as an actress. Her newest CD has also gotten pretty good reviews, although the sales are probably not mega huge.
So yeah. There ya go. By the way, I’ll probably be watching License to Wed on DVD. We’ll see how it is.

Bad trailer. Bad movie. Krasinski was a total waste. He tried to hard and moore was just going thru the motions. It goes without saying that Robin Williams just sucked.

I can admit that I was worried about “License to Wed” being less than amusing after seeing the trailer, but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the film with my mother who insisted we go. As a matter of fact, everyone in the pact theater seemed to enjoy it. Is it brilliant? No. It was a bit contrived, but still funny & it was great seeing John & a few other “Office” cast members again.
As for trailers that do not look promising, “No Reservations” is a bit too pun-happy for me.
And a reverse in topic, I thought “The Break-Up” trailer was hilarious. The movie, however, was not.

I actually liked this movie – for fans of The Office, it was nice to see John out of the “Jim” for a change. The movie isn’t as horrid as others I’ve seen in the past. The movie made me laugh so for me, that’s a good deal. It’s unreal to me how unless an actor/actress is in the news for something they’re doing wrong, people criticize them for lack of publicity. I’d much rather give John, Mandy, and Robin my money than any other actors/actresses out there. Go see it – it won’t change your life, but at least you’ll laugh.

I’m positive it’s Biel in ‘chuck and larry.’ But, that’s stupid to put in the trailer, because why go to see a two-hour homophobic joke just for that shot, when she wears even less in the mags on the stand.

Employee of the Month had a horrible trailer, too. I can remember a bad movie called Rat Race that had a really funny trailer–every single remotely funny gag from the movie was in the trailer. So it’s possible to mislead audiences the other direction, too.
