Neely O’Hara in a remake of “Valley of the Dolls” directed by Quentin Tarantino.

I think she should take about 5 years off and get a real life – like maybe go to college – and then come back and try again. Frankly there is nothing she could star in right now that would make me want to go see a LL flick – and I mean nothing.

Oh yeah – and I agree with the other posters here – dump your trailer trash mom and stay as far away from your skeezy dad as you possibly can. It’s true that family is important, but not when they are toxic to you or your well being (as these 2 CLEARLY are). And if you do decide to go clubbing again (which I never have understood WHY a bar would serve alcohol to or allow in an underage person like her – hello, if I were a ABC officer looking to bust bars for serving minors I’d have just follwed her around every weekend – but i digress) make sure you do it right and just od – then everyone would talk about how great you were and your legacy will be set as the talented girl that died too young. Better that than a washed up hag who can’t control herself.

How about go to college so that maybe she can stop being such a dumba**. Maybe after she gets and education she will have the ability to choose film projects that don’t suck.

I actually like Lindsay Lohan, I’m not obsessed with following people’s downfalls in the media, so I missed a lot of what was going on with her, and just recently learned that Paris was in jail. Wow, where was I all that time? I was actually doing something constructive. I do love movies, and I think she’s really talented… Fashionistas sound excellent, but I’m all for her taking two years off and reinventing herself.

I think that when choosing what movies to do she should stick to characters close to her in age who don’t have much depth. I’ve seen most of her movies, not ever because she’s the star and been amazed at how much talent she doesn’t have. Sure she was cute in the Parent Trap and spoke with a credible accent. Freaky Friday the remake was better then the original (minus Chad Michael Murray) and Mean Girls was awesome (And that success can be laid at the feet of Rachel Mcadams and the rest of the ensemble cast). Lindsey is beautiful but she doesn’t have half the talent people seem to think she has. She has no depth and no range and Please God dont let her put out any more cds. I don’t want to put down the people who are down on their luck but she and Britney have something in common, they need to leave Hollywood.. Now! Pack their bags and try to lead normal lives before they go crazier they already have. Who cares what movies they make? I hope she never makes another!

I cant stand this chick. But,if she wants her career back she definetly needs to go the Drew Barrymore rout and actually stay in rehab and get her life straight.

I would suggest her next move be “death”, because I’m soooooo sick of her, not to mention, Paris and Britney as well (even though I looooove Britney, but she makes me want to barf right now). I don’t even care that Lindsay has talent….I’m over her. I think she would have to disappear for a few years and then make a solid, sober comeback for me to like her again.

Whimsey has got a point there. Plus Lohans resemblance to Ann Margret Olsen (minus vocal) is uncanny. Seriously, let her red hair grow in, add in a little light red highlights, and vola! Still when she does get her act together, some college would not kill her either.

Well, I certainly would suggest she stay in rehab for a while. She then needs to act in ensemble movies so the focus doesn’t have to be EXCLUSIVELY on her. And forget the music, please. Finally, yes, she needs to make the break from her mother who needs to get her own life.

Did someone seriously just wish death upon her? Wow… that’s just… wow. Anyway, the only thing I think Lohan should do for the next year of her life is just break ties with her parents and find a mentor of some sort. She also needs representation that is focused on something other than just making her a celebrity.

Actually, I also agree with the recommendations for college, though something tells me Lindsay has been raised to value fame and money over education and maturity. Also, teh idea of doing an adaptation of “I Love You Beth Cooper” is fantastic, though they would really need a good screenwriter for it – maybe someone like BJ Novak could do it.

Lindsay SO should have been in Transformers. But no, oh no, she’d rather spend the summer (i.e., 2006′s) in Malibu up to no good. I saw the movie last week and thought that Megan Fox – who’s cute and “adequite” and all but is starting to get irritating with her tough-ass chick off-screen facade, already – should thank her lucky star that L2 is so undesirable to work with perhaps that Michael Bay didn’t even consider her for the part (there were no rumors of it, unlike with M:i:III).
L2 should have never pulled out of a Woman of No Importance, Bill, or Best Times of Our Lives. And she should fire Dina – stat. There are plenty great professional managers in Hollywood. Also, she should hire Stephen Huvane to handle press. And enough with the going out with Samantha Ronson and Calum Best and Karl Lagerfeld. Ron and the Lag are great, but one’s a DJ moocher and the other’s too old and eccentric.
Pick up a book this summer – one not “written” by a co-star. Take a pottery class. Take care!

  • Who dey?

    Happy 21st birthday Lindsay!

I agree with GingerCat – she needs to do some ensemble movies where she’s not the focus (i.e. NOT the girl on the poster, the one who gets the tickets sold), where she can show her talent again and re-establish her acting reputation. She was great in Prairie Home Companion, but everything she’s done lately where she tried to star was truly painful.
