Spider-Man like you've never seen him!

Categories: Art, Spider-Man 3, Star Wars

Spidey_venom_lAre you suffering from a "case of the Mondays"? Well, if this YouTube clip (or this one) doesn’t cure it, might I suggest checking out Jeff Victor’s "bubblehead" drawings? The Los Angeles-based artist’s Wicked Crispy blog (click here to see it) focuses primarily on Star Wars‘ characters — his Jabba the Hutt is particularly delightful — but my favorites are his Spider-Man, Pale Man (from Pan’s Labyrinth), and Batman (which you can view after the jump).

Batman_l Here’s hoping Mr. Victor puts his talent to use on a likeness of my hero — Belmont Stakes-winning filly Rags to Riches. Anyone else you’d like to see him sketch?

Definitely cute stuff. I also like See Kyle Draw. His cartoons are very cute, and he does some superhero stuff, too.

Jeff Victor is one of the best up and coming artists in his field today. He’s been doing “Bubbleheads” for years and now that he’s stepped them up with a more stylized facelift, he’s finally getting the recognition he deserves.
Be sure to check out his new cartoon short as well, “SUPERFIENDS”.

It’s about time people noticed Jeff’s amazing talent… he’s easily one of the fastest, most consistant, and brilliantly versitile artists working in LA right NOW.

Jeff Victor is an enormously talented cartoonist and animator. His work is innovative, uniquely stylized and refreshingly clever. I’ve been a fan for years, and am so glad that others are discovering his heretofore unsung talents!
