'Studio 60': Please kill me now

Holy crap, that may have been the worst hour 55 minutes of scripted TV I’ve ever forced myself to sit through. Read the full post.

Ya see, I watch this show for many reasons (my love affair with all things Sorkin, my appreciation for good writing and good performance, etc…)…but after watching The Disaster Show, I am struck by one simple truth…this show, at its worst is still better than ANYTHING on TV now. The last five minutes, featuring the interaction between the unbelievably chemistry laden Allison Janney and Timothy Busfield left me with that same feeling I got watching CJ and Danny on WW…hopeful…happy…then I remembered the idiots at NBC with the axes…and I shuddered for TV’s future…

I agree with Lee… at it’s lowest, Studio 60 is the best thing on television… I for one, along with my friends will miss it greatly… someone make a savestudio60.com please

I agree, “The Disaster Show” left something to be desired… but I wish they’d give it a fair chance. If people can stick it through this past season of 24 (and that’s not even good writing!), then I think we can give Studio 60 with it’s witty, fast-paced writing and development another chance.
Doesn’t SOMETHING have to redeem tv?
