I’m done with all shows until they are around 2 or 3 seasons at best. I don’t watch reality and never will (my life has enough of it). Oh and there was nothing for me to watch on CBS beside Jericho. I keep feeling this Kid Nation nonsense is just some huge hoax created to make us cry (it’s working). What is the over/under that Kid Nation even makes it 6 episodes?
Why the heck are you people so willing to give in, why are you willing to settle for a 2 hour wrapup, we the fans have the balls to contnue to hound CBS for a 2nd season, it’s a shame all of you “Industry” types are so easily placated.
NUTS to CBS!!!! Bring back Jericho!!! My whole family watched the show together. Awesome show.. we want it back!!!
No one ever got anything by doing nothing! If we want it back we have to keep fighting. We can’t just sit back and say “aw well, I wrote an email a week ago. That’s it.” This is war! You don’t just sit on your laurels waiting on others to do it for you. I don’t want a 2 hour tv movie. I want my weekly dose of JERICHO the series and I am not giving up!
One thing CBS has to consider is what kind of message canceling Jericho sends to viewers who are thinking about sampling new fall programming. The very first night I watched Jericho, I thought to myself– I’m gonna end up really liking this show, and then they’ll cancel it like they always do when they aren’t satisfied with the antiquated Nielsen rating reports. It sucks.
Maybe we should all watch CBS for the next week and make sure we do not buy one thing..they are making money from trying to sell us…maybe we need to send them nuts and break their nuts…
My whole family watched Jericho..what a kick in the groin to see it cancelled like that.
This can be about so much more than the cancellation of Jericho.
All viewers can join our fight to “Save Jericho”. This is everyone’s opportunity to express the unfairness of their favorite shows being cancelled based on ratings from an outdated ratings system.
Jericho was an exceptional series. It deserves a 2nd chance (not a 2 hr movie to wrap things up)!
A week ago, I would have been happy with a TV movie or estatic with a miniseries wrap up. FORGET IT!!! That was a week ago. Now I want the whole sha-bang. Second Season is the least I’ll accept now. I’ve sent in my nuts, written my snail mail and phoned once a day.
No I’m not a radical person, in fact I’m a stay at home mom. A mom who doesn’t have a whole lot of time to watch tv and I chose this. My mistake for putting my faith into a show that was regarded so highly. But dropped like a hot potato. This is why I only watch shows when they get into re-runs.
So they said that was an intentional ending to the series/season to let our imagination run wild. Well that’s like saying “Who Shot JR?” and then saying, oops we decided to cancel Dallas. (Imagine all the cans of oil that could have been sent in if that happened.)
Well that’s how I feel anyway so NUTS!!! to CBS.
NUTS to a 2 hour movie wrap up! Jericho centres on the end of the world as we know it, the greastest crime in the history of the world and the potential of the bloodiest civil war the world has ever seen. Can that all be wrapped up in two hours? NO!
We only settle for season two – NOTHING LESS.
It is awfully patronizing of CBS to think that we’d be satisified with a small 2 hour movie.
Yes. I AM abandoning CBS for the long haul. I have stopped watching them altoghether since they canceled JEricho and will not watch them again unless they bring it back for a 2nd season and do so in the right way – no break, no American Idol slot! This is a shame because I really enjoyed watching CSI (orginal & NY), Shark, The entire Monday night comedy line up, NCIS, and Numb3rs. *sigh*
A two hour hour wrap is not acceptable. A show like this deserves another chance. A FAIR chance, CBS! CBS has been banned in my home until JERICHO is brought back.
I don’t want “closure” – I want my show back!!!
NUTS to CBS – bring back Jericho!!!
I’m among the Jericho fans who say, “Only Season Two Will Do!!” If CBS refuses to renew Jericho for another season, just let a smarter network have it. Keep your “closure” episode or movie. That’s not what this is about. Yeah, we feel ripped off, but a slapped together 2hr movie to placate the angry fans is not enough for the majority of us. “Closure? We don’t want no stinkin’ closure!” We want Jericho back for a second season. Period.
