I’m with Vivi. Exempting his fantastic cover of “you give love a bad name” and a few other moments, Blake’s not done anything for me.
That he wore the same t-shirt as Booger from Revenge of the Nerds isn’t campy, it’s corny.

Blake’s shirt is almost as criminal as his “beat-boxing.” Obviously nobody on the show has actually heard real beat-boxing otherwise they would never use that term to describe his style. The guy has a decent voice, but does not stack up against the other finalists.
DAAANG Dre! You smacked Blake up like your namesake does to suckers on the Chronic albums…

He’s having fun and he probably doesn’t want to win and get stuck for a year in a contract he can’t negotiate. He’s better off getting eliminated, and he knows it. I think it’s great that he’s breaking the mold…it’s good to be different…HAVE FUN PEOPLE!
Coach…do you actually think that if Blake loses, that 19 Entertainment won’t pick up his contract? The producers have the right to sign any member of the top 12 for up to three months after the finale. They did it last year with Hicks, McPhee, Daughtry, and Pickler. CLEARLY, they will pick up Blake for a deal no matter where he finishes…so him trying to lose isn’t going to change that. Plz!
