ahhh so glad to see that someone else thinks that RATM concert is the best day of his life. Just seen them in Modena, Italy recently and it can't be put in words. 'Religious-fantic-meets-God' kind of feeling. and now i just want more, more, more..

I think that a lot of people are just generally picking faults because they don't have the guts to get up there themselves and even attempt to make a change.
I do not agree with the odd non-comparison of Rage to Dead Kennedys, however. Look at what happened to Biafra.
LAW SUIT.
Music is somewhat lacklustre in passion, but it can still kick up a fuss... right guys?

Check out this video of Rage performing at Coachella, it's only 3 songs but it's the best of the videos I've seen so far.

I LOVED their performance - but did anyone else get the feeling that Zack wasen't 100% into it? I hate to critisize the return of one of my favorite bands of ALL TIME - but I noticed he hardly screamed at all... at most parts where he used to pour his heart out into the microphone, he was pulling it away or letting the crowd fill in. I really can only remember one verse during their opening song in which he fully used his vocal cords. Otherwise, he was focusing much more on the pronunciation and literation. And on a few guitar parts that would normally melt the face off anyone within hearing distance, Tom seemed to tone it down a bit!
It appears to me that the influences of their side careers have affected this reunion of theirs. I really hope this doesn't cause any problems with their future appearances.

OH I WAS IN THE S**T, and there was definitely crowd surfing going on. In fact, its by far the best way to get from the back of the crowd to the front if you weigh under 200 lbs. As usual for a west coast show, etiquette in the pit was superb. There were 5 people to pick up anyone who fell, and no sucker punches were thrown in the fray. I even got dumped over the center rail and got to watch unabated from 10 feet away, while I pretended to be with a film crew. What seemed like 5 minutes later, one of the hundred or so security guards on deck noticed I was drenched in sweat as was everyone in the crowd, and spit me down the gauntlet to side of the stage, jumping, head banging, and screaming the whole way. Long as you got quick feet, YOUR NEVER TOO OLD TO MOSH! RAGE, I LOVE YOU!

So Sam is upset about the 60's but okay with the lame 90's rap metal nostalgia remark?
Today I helped the proletariat by calling them morons for not voting for Democrats and reminding them that they're stupid for not buying Morello's flopped solo CD.

I didn't watch Rage, but I wholeheartedly agree with you about the fried artichoke hearts. Even worse were the shrimp stuffed artichokes.

Wow, someone used the word "proletariat" unironically. Clearly your dogma, like RATR's is from the 60's. Is your IQ stuck in the mid 60's, too?
I wish EW had covered The Good, The Bad and The Queen and NOT some lame 90's rap metal nostalgia act.
