umm this has been a really great season. to a point it was funny to hear simons comments about Sanjaya but i really did like your hair though. i can’t wait to see the upcomming show to see who gets voted off. i think there’s really good talent and it’s going to be hard to decide who’s gonna be the next anericsn idle!! my favorite is gonna be Blake, he just caught my ear, i guess you might say, i absolutly love his voice for the guys. For the girls i vote for the 17 year old she has an amazing voice for a 17 year old!!! but i bet the results will be really shocking when the show ends!!

What about Josh Groban’s performance of “You Raise Me Up” and the African children’s choir surrounding him? I thought that it was great, and made me cry. (Unlike the whole “Trips to Africa” parts; I kept on wondering if Simon and Ryan were sincere or not.)
I thought the Celine/Elvis thing was rather ridiculous. Long live the king, but I didn’t really enjoy it.
Chris/Melinda? Interesting, but I don’t really see it. Who knows?
Jack Black is always hilarious, and Ben Stiller got a few laughs out of me…The first time around, anyway. The repeated returnings to him were a bit extensive, but whatever.

Why are so many of you so negative,If you don’t like the show go back to your soaps .I thought Wed. nite show was Great.Celine and Elvis was the highlight of the night. Thanks Idol, Love your show. Looks to me like Chris & Melinds are just great friends, people should realize there can be friendship without romance.Get a life people

Why the bleeding H are the Hollywood actresses skinnier that the poverty striken famine-ravaged children of Africa???? Self-starvation is such a poor message and terrible example to set for those that actually look up to these people.

I applaud AI for their fund-raising efforts. Having lived in Nairobi I have seen firsthand many of the places that were featured Wednesday night, including the Kibera slums.
Those situations were not contrived. They are real, and I know Simon and Ryan didn’t have to go out of their way to find them.
I, for one, would not want a camera in my face when being confronted by the reality of life in an African slum. It took courage for Ryan and Simon to allow America to get a glimpse of their pesonal struggles.
I will never be the same person I was before I lived in Africa. Thanks to Ryan and Simon for showing America a little bit of what they experienced – and what I experienced.

this is bulls*t. screw simon cowell. A while back a little navajo boy saved his sister from a burning house but of course you wouldnt here this on national news because its not good enough. When promised that Simon would visit the little boy and congradulate him, he never showed yet he can go to another country and spend time with some other kid? Navajos arent rich, we dont have casinos and money to spend like nothing matters. We work for what we have. How could anyone do something like that to any child in this country, despite the color of ones skin or heritage? what a disgrace.
