Rats, mice, and other rodents have a long and storied tradition in children’s entertainment. Cinderella’s mouse friends, Mrs. Frisby and the rats of NIMH, Ron Weasley’s rat Scabbers (granted, not actually a rat), Chip and Dale, Alvin and the chipmunks, Rocky (of…and Bullwinkle), and lest we forget – um, Mickey. Only the most famous and universally recognized cartoon character in the world. And a mouse to boot. So I say, Ratatouille looks cute, and onward Pixar. Keep up the good work.
