I’d love a Goonies cast revival. Sadly though, John Matuzak (Sloth) died a few years ago. Still, I’m a big enough fan of Corey Feldman to see him team up with Sean Astin one more time.
This would have been the perfect category to say the Ocean’s 11 cast…but, alas we all know what’s going on with that. The Love Actually cast would be good to team up for a different genre. Let’s see some more crazy adventures from those Team America puppets too!
I’m excited by the idea of Leo, Kate and Kathy reuniting for another film. They’re all great actors.
I also second the votes for Dazed and Confused. That would be great.
The greatest movie of all time? How old is the guy that wrote this post, like 12? Why would anyone want to reunite Tom Cruise with anyone now especially since the birth of his alien baby and the crazy media circus he caused for him self over the last 2 years?
Perhaps the cast of Pulp Fiction…. yeah buddy!
Its a mad mad mad mad world.
Or however many mads there are.
OK, I know this doesn’t top the True Romance Scrabble tourney idea, or the Ghostbusters II(I) idea, but what about 3 Men and a Baby? Because those actors might actually agree to it! And Adrien Brody can play an up-and-coming cartoonist rival of Steve Guttenberg’s, who falls in love with the “little lady.” Who now has a drinking problem. And Jeff from A&E’s intervention can have a cameo. Um…not that I’ve laid awake at night thinking about this or anything.
Jackass 3. or whatever way they make 3 twisted.
LA CONFIDENTIAL. SPACEY, PEARCE, CROWE, CROMWELL, BASINGER, STRATHAIRN, DEVITO. The movie is brilliant and the performances are both nuanced and executed to a T.
I like the idea of using the Ghostbusters cast, but why not put them in an Ivan Reitman movie with a different premise? Bill Murray and Harold Ramis were awesome together as soldiers in Striped, and great with Akroyd as ghostbusters. WHy not give these guys different goofball jobs and make another comedy? I’d pay to see that in a heartbeat.
The cast of “Beautiful Girls.” Man, I love that movie! Natalie Portman’s old enough for Timothy Hutton now and that means The Afghan Whigs would reunite (at least for the film). Sadly, I think the only person missing would be the director, Ted Demme. It would be a fun tribute to him.
I’d like to reunite the better-looking members of the cast of “300″ (especially the ever-scrumptious Gerard Butler). They don’t have to make a movie or anything, just stand in my driveway in their loincloths, while Gerard Butler screams about Sparta..ahhh.
Got to have that cast from THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION getting together again…. it would be great!!!!!!!!
Sixteen Candles, her character turned 36 in 2004, so she’s very close to turning 40. Can’t we have a 40th Birthday Movie, in which her character comes back to the town where 16 Candles took place on the week of her 40th birthday, divorced, and meets the guy she turned down, and they fall in love cause now he’s hot; okay, is there anyway i can copyright this pitch? Forty Candles! because when you think life is over, it can actually begin. I’m taking calls from the studio.
Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner, and Steve Carell. That would be a true afternoon delight.
I would love to see the cast of “The Princess Bride” reunited! They could dedicate it to the late great Andre the Giant.
