Here we go, warthogs! The trailer for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix just went up on the Web. Comments? Concerns? I don’t know about you, but I’m extra psyched now, what with all the shadows and ominous talk that make HPATOOTP at times look more like the fifth installment of the Saw series than another chapter in the whole Will-Ron-And-Hermione-Ever-Get-It-On? affair. Here we have our first major glimpse at Oscar nominee Imelda Staunton (Vera Drake) as Dolores Umbridge. Also, I think if you squint, Harry & Co. look a heckuvalot like The Goonies in some shots. ("Sloth love Chunk… and Hagrid!") Man, those wee wizards are getting old, PopWatchers. Seasons change. And, as the trailer promises, "On July 13th, the rebellion begins." Are you ready?

Wow. That was by far the best HP movie trailer I’ve seen. Epic and thrilling! I’m not a big HP fan, never read the books, but that trailer makes feels like they’re building up to something big. Maybe I should go to the library now…

This trailer is much better than the international trailer that was released over the weekend. We got more shots of Voldemort (who was looking pretty good in that black suit at the train station, I’m ashamed to say) and a few scenes of Dumbledore’s Army. I will be one of the first in line to see this movie. OOTP is easily my favorite book in the series (so far), and it looks as though this movie will be, too.

Wooo hooo, It’s going to be one heck of a summer. First we have “Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix” coming out in theaters on July 13th and then we have the book “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” coming out July 21st. I totally can’t wait for it all. J.K. Rowling is such a great author and I have to simply say “thank you” to her for creating such a wonderful series. The cast in the movies is awesome and I can’t wait to see what Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) is going to be like, I bet she will be amazing. I love Dan (Harry), Emma (Hermione) and Rupert (Ron) a lot as well. All of the actors and actresses are fantastic. I love Harry Potter soooooo much. I love this new trailer and I really, really want to see this movie and read the last book. July needs to hurry up and get here.

I know I’ll go see it. The trailer looks ok. It seems to me they are trying too hard to make the movie seem hyper-exciting but the footage looks a bit thin and weak to me. Just my op, as I said, I know I’ll see the movie opening weekend, but I haven’t been all that impressed with what I’ve read and seen so far.
Bring on the rebellion! I’m definitely ready! The trailer looks amazing. And Voldemort in a suit. Just needed to draw attention to that, because I think it may be one of the best things I’ve seen all day. Can’t wait for July.

Sorry to break it to you. Harry and Hermione will never get it on. Harry is predetermined for Ginny. Ron and Hermione are already getting it on. You will see illusions to this at the end of movie 3 and in movie 4, or reading to the books.

This looks SO great! I cannot wait for this to come out. I was a little skeptical of the director, but this trailer seems to show he got it very right. The ending is pretty creepy, though. Nice use of Hedwig’s theme to send chills down the spine!
Harry Potter is getting kind of hot… when’s his 18th birthday? I may be a little too old now, I’m pretty sure that by the end of the year, he and I could hook up!

I let out some major fangirl squeals watching that, even the second and third time – especially when the Weasley twins appeared! (Oh, I love me some Weasley boys.) I think the movie will be great…I can hardly wait!!!
