NBA Hall of Famer Clyde Drexler (pictured, with Elena Grinenko) just got dunked on by Heather Mills, and he could not be happier. (Host Samantha Harris is really happy too, because now her hands have guaranteed 24/7 control of the microphone.) I’ll go out on a lengthy limb and say that Clyde’s triumphant fist pump when Tom called his name was perhaps his most graceful move in the competition. He is so going golfing tomorrow.
I’m not sure what more to say about last night’s results show, since most of you, the judges, the audience, the other dancers, and Clyde all wanted Clyde to go home. We could talk about Macy Gray instead. She ain’t feelin’ no pain. Or Louis Van Amstel, who got zero star treatment but certainly sparkled to me. Or the lovable DWTS lifer/Roxie Hart impersonator Lisa Rinna and her pack of gigolos. I wonder what brand of lipstick she uses to achieve such dramatic fullness…
I thought Heather Mills and Billy Ray Cyrus both looked ready to go home last night — anyone else?

Predictable.
John and Edyta were so happy they weren’t in the bottom two; that’s what I like to see.
My husband thought Macy Gray was one of the American Idol finalists. (we had just finished watching AI) I did not like her song or her dress.
Billy Ray looked shocked and even a little PO’d that he wasn’t in the bottom two and I must say I agree with him. He’s just painful to watch and annoying with all his self-promoting Disney references. I predict he’ll completely dog it next week so he can finally leave, but not before he gets in one more “Hannah Montana” shout-out.
Glad Clyde’s gone – he was sleepwalking. Even though John’s not the best dancer, at least he seems to be trying his best and he’s obviously having a lot of fun out there.
Lisa Rinna’s lips are just downright scary.

Lisa Rinna was awful. I can’t imagine anyone would pay to see that. And, isn’t she way too old to play Roxie Hart?

Glad to see Clyde Glide out to the curb…he was gracious, tho, I’ll give him that. Billy Ray was shocked to the max and did, indeed, seem pretty miffed that he has to stay. I know some folks don’t like Joey but I do like him a lot, lot, lot. He puts me on a high note with his dancing and sense of humor. Loved his bunny slippers. Apolo is beyond good and I have to say I think the judges are being wayyyy too harsh on Ian. I thought his rumba was great. It occured to me that they might be aiming their poison darts at Cheryl, not because she’s a bad dancer. She’s exceptional. I wonder if perhaps they simply don’t want a three-peat. I’m just saying…..
Uh….that would be a great samba for Ian, not a rumba. My bad.
I’ll admit to being one of those that was most interested in Clyde taking a walk last night. He was painful to watch! Just look at that picture!
I’m also all for Billy Ray being the next star to be tossed. He’s playing that “good old boy” image to the extreme, and yes, is ridiculous in his Hannah Montana publicity.
I think John should stick around for another week or so; and that Heather should be booted the week after him. I call it; that is the order: Billy Ray, John, Heather, Ian. After that, I like them all so it gets sad to think about.
I think Clyde was kind of hoping for the outcome too. The judges make positive comments then give low scores. I think they are beginning to feel themselves sort of like Simon. I really appreciate Billy Ray wearing the black ribbon for the people that was lost in the Virginia Tech massacre.
I feel bad for Billy Ray and especially Korina….he doesn’t want to be there and she doesn’t want to push him around anymore. Although they are pushing Ali and Apollo I still think joey is the most fun/interesting dancer. I like Kym alot too.
Also…Lisa Rinna is going into Chicago right after Bebe Neuwirth leaves…ouch! Good Luck. She was pretty bad.
i literally looked up online if lisa rinna was actually going to be in the show in new york’s broadway or if it was some off-broadway in another state thing…so happy i saw it years ago
I have massive love for Cheryl & Edyta, but I cant belive how fast Julianne is sneaking up on my girls!! They better get it in gear, esp. Cheryl who actually has a young guy.I hope Edyta & Alec get to do one of their dances this year, you always need a cig after.
Clyde was AMAZING fun, I loved him, looked forward to see him out there. I actually think he was trying. Just like Heather, I think Clyde has a disability, in his own small way. That height thing is NOT easy to overcome.
I know he felt he should have went home, he was the worst dancer, but he seemed like one of the nicest. I enjoy Clyde’s dance floor explorations more than Heather, Billy Rae or (sad to say this since I love Cheryl & Ian) Ian. WHAT was that music they gave poor Ian last week? Has there ever been a more monotonous, lackadaisical recreation of a hot Shakira dance EVER??? Im convnced the music sank em.
Clyde was mismatched from the get go. The guy is what? 6′8? He should have been paired up with a woman dancer who was 5′8 and up. PS: Lisa Rinna can’t carry a tune.

Ian may look young but he is almost 44 years old(he was born in 1964), so it is not as if he is the youngest guy there.
I liked Clyde but it was definitely time for him to go.
I thought Lisa Rinna did good with her performance. Roxie Hart isn’t supposed to be a good singer so the fact that Lisa Rinna’s voice isn’t the strongest works. She does need to lay off the collagen though.
Clyde was basically a less overtly rude, slightly more charismatic versio of Master P.
Neither of them could dance to save their life, neither tried and neither could wait to go home.
I’m so glad to see Clyde gone! He was a horrible dancer and he looked like a huge mummy dancing. I like Apolo and Julianne the best out of anyone. Joey and Kym are very good as well. Heather and Jonathan are good, so what Heather fell the other night I’ll give her a chance because even though she fell she’s still better than Clyde or Billy Ray was. I like Heather. I want Billy Ray gone next, then 2nd, John, 3rd Ian, and from there I don’t care who wins. I’m tired of Cheryl Burke. Cheryl seems to be a rude, snobby witchy person and I don’t like her one bit. I think Cheryl is so stuck on herself and thinks the show revolves around her. I want the final three to be: Apolo, Joey and Heather. I would love to see Apolo win. Laila was good at first and now she is simply loosing it. I like Dancing With the Stars and I want to see this season turn out well. I was mad season 2 and 3 when Drew and Emmitt won. Emmitt sucked and Drew was NOT better than Stacey. But that’s my opinion. Well, byeee!

Billy Ray may be ready to go, but I am sure Corinna (sp?) is not. She wants too badly to win. Did you see how hateful she was last year when Emmitt and Cheryl beat her & Mario? Geez, I know Joey was an exceptional dancer, but its a popularity contest as well as a dance contest. Besides I like to watch the dancers grow on DWTS just as I like watching the singers grow on AI. Go Laila & Maks, Joey & Kim, and Ian & Cheryl!
