This just in and making me abnormally happy: Sandra Bullock will start shooting what sounds like a romantic comedy this summer. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film All About Steve will star Bullock as "a brilliant crossword constructor who, after one short date, decides that a CNN cameraman is her true love. Because the cameraman’s job takes him hither and yon, she crisscrosses the country, turning up at media events as she tries to convince him they are perfect for each other. She fails in this objective but falls in with a band of misfits who appreciate her for who she is."
Even with its desperate "brilliant crossword constructor" attempt at originality, does it sound clichéd? Yes. Am I seeing it on opening night? Totally.Who else is psyched for Sandy’s return to the RomCom genre? After Premonition scored a 7 percent fresh rating on RottenTomatoes.com (down from The Lake House’s 36 percent), you know you want it. No shame in doing what you do well.

Good God no…….
I don’t care what Sandra does next as long as it is good. She was on such a role lately with her dramatic work, and then there was the big misstep of “Premonition” (it shows you what a draw she is that the film is still gonna make $50 million).
One thing I would like to see her do is another comedy with Hugh Grant written/directed by Richard Curtis. That would be heaven.
am i the only one who can’t stand sandra bullock? even if the concept is good, i will do my best not to see a movie she’s in – she’s on my list of actors i can’t stand to watch..

When you look at the ‘other’ actresses born in the 60’s…Jody Foster, Helen Hunt, Nicole Kidman, Rene Zellweger, you wonder why she isn’t getting any meaty roles. She’s 43 and still looks good. The only memorable movies she was in were ‘Speed’ and ‘While You Were Sleeping’.

I like Sandra B., but she does need a hit. I think she could do drama or something with more bite. It’s a shame she continues to get Jennifer Aniston type roles as SB has way more range and likeability than JA does. But her agent obviously doesn’t have the “was married to Brad Pitt” angle to work with!!
Bullock is the sanjaya of film actresses, you know the performance will stink before you see it every single time out.
She’s great. Can’t wait to see it.
Sandra Bullock, typically jewish looking girl ( Mother Helga Meyer…Meyer very common in 14th Century Britain, name means Jewish Tutor..i.e.:- Religion,
ethics etc . Many Jews at that time converted to Catholicism to avoid persecution ) However there is nothing wrong about being Jewish, they are very successful people and talented. Hollywood was at one time dominated by them . You rarely see profile photos of Sandra, which says a lot. In the main she is not an above average actress,is mainly a pretty face.
I have not been impressed with any of her movies.
This is wrong. She is not jewish, nor is Meyer exclusively a jewish name. Meyer is a Germanic name adopted by the Jewish people that entered Germany. By the way, her mother Helga, who has similar hair, doesn’t at all look jewish, neither does her father John, but I can see Sandra as looking jewish, so I know what people mean when they say she looks like a jew.
