Diamonds may be a girl’s best friend, but Marshmallow Peeps have surged to No. 2 — with a bullet — thanks to the Washington Post’s Sunday Source Peeps Diorama Contest. The winning entrant, a recreation of an iconic scene from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes by graphic artist Charles Johnston is an absolute hoot, but if I were judging, I’d have given top prize to "Peepman and Boypeep Speed to the Peepmobile to Feed the Parking Meter." Click here to check out the contest’s 22 honorees, including peeptastic scenes from Say Anything, The Simpsons, and Little Miss Sunshine.

Man, some of those were cool, (I dug that the ear was cut off of the cop in the Reservoir Dogs diorama), but that liposuction one was disturbing. Maybe just because the needle was so disproportionately huge…
i love the peepgirls one!

This makes me want to waste a weekend with a few dozen discounted peeps and my imagination. Thankfully, I’ll never do it, as I’ll forget to buy them and then they’ll disappear until next year.
Very cute…the “Say Anything” diorama brought back pleasant 80s teenage memories. This is a great use for Peeps – they’re just about inedible, so why not use them for arts ‘n’ crafts?
Reservoir Peeps totally ruled.
Peeps microwaved is the best food EVER.
The Fort Worth Star Telegram had a contest for this as well..they had some great entries too.
Thank you Dj for dumping your garbage all over our boards.
