I wasn’t much of a Kellie Pickler fan during her sixth-place run on season 5 of American Idol — she lost me at "What’s a ballsy?" — and her latest video for the maudlin ballad "I Wonder" probably isn’t going to change that. The clip kind of reeks of, "Hey! Let’s save money by shooting Kelly getting off her tour bus, getting her makeup done, and doing a sound check the next time she’s in Nashville. Oh, and let’s get a kid — any kid will do — to play a sort of spectral mini-me." Not particularly original or interesting, but on the plus side, Kelly seems to have traded in the hideola ’50s housewife curls she was sporting in her most recent Idol results-show appearance, and believe it or not, I’m actually not minding the song. That Pickler kid, she’s a classic trier. And who doesn’t like a trier?

Kellie rocks it in every performance. It’s pretty obvious she should have won that year as she was the best and most polished of last year’s group. I’ve already played this video 19 times and have cried each time it ends. I want more Kellie Pickler! MORE Popwatch coverage please, pretty please with sugar on top, and maybe some new boob implants. Oh wait, sarcasm doesn’t always work in comment sections. Oops
Ok, I was certainly NEVER a Kelly fan during AI 5, but I’m not hating the song. The video is cheezy, and there are some fairly terrible acting scenes in there, but I could see the song making it to my iPod.
She looks like Christina Applegate in this video.
The video is definitely lacking quality, but the song is not bad. The little girl is cute. Slezak, I don’t understand the shot you took. “Any gir will do.” Huh?
I am a horrible person … I’ll just say that up-front so no one else has to, but here are the 3 things I thought watching this video:
1. Kellie looks like Tori Spelling in this video–not a compliment. I remember Kellie being prettier than she seems now.
2. She should have paid the extra money to make sure that she was going to get 2 girls of the same size … the right one is smaller than the left. (I know that’s typical for women to naturally be that way, but I figure if you’re paying someone to enhance the girls, they ought to be able to make them symmetrical.)
3. It looks very weird how she’s standing on the stage at the end–legs apart as if she’s trying to rip her dress up the seams, and she’s pigeon-toed.
Doesn’t she have someone to look for these things?

I wish Kelly would have left her boobs alone. She was just fine the way she was. Not a fan, but I think she has potential. She needs to stop listening to bad advice.

Not a bad song at all as country music goes. Kellie looks good until they show a full body shot……what’s with the STANCE?
She’s got good management. And she has developed into a very very very good singer. I think she’s going to cross over faster than Carrie Underwood after making it in Country. She’s got the personality, the looks, she’s just fine. Another great AI star.
I saw the video for the first time the other day. Not too bad. It helped the song make more sense. When she sang it on AI a few weeks ago, it was like ‘huh?’, but now I get it.
Very good Kellie. I think Kellie Picker has done a great job in “I wonder”. Kellie Pickler and Carrie Underwood are the best American Idol’s ever! Carrie is fantastic and Kellie has a LOT of catching up to do (not saying anything bad about Kellie, but I’m just saying). I love them both and I want to see them both in concert some day.
Clearly, Kellie needs to start being MUCH nicer to her hair and make-up crew because whoever styled her for this video HATED HER GUTS.
She’s a cute girl, but those close-ups looked like Nicole Sullivan from MadTV doing an Antonia skit. She didn’t look like herself.
I’m not a country fan, but Kellie is a likeable girl and the song is decent – she just needs better styling advice. That was difficult to watch.

The point is that this is really her life story and it is tragic. I think she did a great job telling the story although the video is so-so and she looks horrendous. (she was cuter before the enhancement) Go Kellie, and it is your Mom’s loss.
Platinum blonde hair and white eye liner do not go together. That being said, I can’t lie; I had a little tear at the end of the song. Stupid child-abandoning moms.
I really really like the song. I didn’t watch American Idol, but as an artist I think she’s doing great.
The video is not great but she sounds good on this song. If she can top this,she may just have a long career. Thump: You need not put Kelly Clarkson down just to elevate the ones you love. Carrie is a good singer, I bought her album, and Kelly’s. They are into two different types of music. Kelly has been very successful and does not need to “catch up” to anyone.
I really like kellie.She does a good job on the songs she writes and sings.To go from American Idol to what she is now is great..Most don’t make it as far as she has and Carrie Underwood.Look at the weird guy who won american idol.He has no records that plsy on t.v.People voted for him because of the way he danced.And that he could not do..I agree with alot of people GO KELLIE!!!!!!!!!!!

I really love this song, I may not have been in this situation, but I have a friend who was adopted, and she wants to see her mom but she doesn’t because she wouldn’t give up drugs to keep her. When she had opened up to me and my family, i twas like I was in that situation. When she told us that we all had cried. But that just shows that some people can’t do what is needed for their children, and that upsets me. I really feel Kellie Pickler, and I’m proud that she wrote this it really touched millions of peoples hearts.
