LOL Crispin Glover is brilliant. Could you imagine if anyone ever got him and Andy Kaufman in the same interview room?

Just fueling the fires of my hatred for Avril Lavigne. I mean, my god, he could have gotten more response and less snooty, rude eye-rolling if he was talking to the couch she was sitting on! Avril, you suck. Please just stop singing or at least drop this “like, OMG, I’m like so totally punk!” image that makes the tweens think they can dye their hair and shop at Hot Topic and just be the pop princess you really and truely are. @#$*ing poser.

There was an interview Meg Ryan did on the Parkinson show here in the UK a couple of years ago that was just as painful as the Avril one. Popworld is a great little show by the way; the interviewer is Alex Zane.

Is Avril dumb or just a b**ch? Or both? I say both. What a tool.
Alex Zane, on the other hand, is a super-cutie.

haha I have had the biggest crush on Crispin Glover for a long time and everyone always makes fun of me.
A few of the weirdest interviews I’ve seen lately: Derek Jeter on Regis and Kelly. Regis was pretty much hitting on Jeter the whole time and practically kissed him on the neck. Plus, all interviews on the red carpet suck because they’re done by people (like E! correspondents) who have no idea what they’re talking about.

How can you blame April for bad attitude? The interviewer sucked! He asked if Venice smelled like eggs, and if she could cry tears of milk. I would have gotten up and left.

The Avril interview is painful to watch – not because of Avril – that interviewer is terrible.

Avril Lavigne is annoying. I swear she wants to be Britney Spears. That’s why she’s going around saying all of this crap about her. She’s jealous that no one pays any attention to her.

Does anybody agree that Avril Lavigne could be the hottest celebrity on the planet if she really wanted it? Apparently, she could care less.

I love Crispin Glover! people need to stop taking him seriously, he is a method actor!

The interviewer was asking sort of silly questions, but Avril didn’t even have a sense of humor about them. I could tell he was getting a little put-off from her attitude.

I’m not a big fan of Ms. Lavigne, however that interviewer was just moronic. Unless his schtick is bad interviews, I don’t know how the producers of his show even let that interview air.

The questions to Avril were completely dumb, but she should have sucked it up and gave some sort of effort since they were there to help her promote her album. Still, what else would expect from someone who just set back pop music twenty years with her new single?

I saw that Crispin Glover interview the night it aired, and one thing I remember was just how surpassingly odd the hair, flood pants and shoes were circa 1987. None of those things had yet experienced a retro-kitsch revival, and you can actually hear the audience react to his shoes.

He’s dressed as his character in Rubin and Ed, but I’ve never caught the movie. Anyone know if it’s any good?
