many good-to-great films go underrated, but i will offer 2 titles starring the always underrated ethan hawke: “gattaca” and “great expectations”.

Oh, and “TAG: The Assassination Game” might count as guilty pleasure since I’m fairly certain I’m the only one who has ever heard of it.

You guys are fantastic! I love that we appreciate all the same movies – I’m gonna second a bunch of your pics:
    Clue
Romy & michelle’s High School Reunion
    Newsies
SOAPDISH (one of the funniest movies of all time)
    Josie and the Pussycats
    Troop Beverly Hills
    The Ref
And how about Adventures in Babysitting? One of the all time great 80s movies that usually gets overlooked with all the John Hughes movies taking up room. Pete’s Dragon? A beautiful, sweet, classic Disney story with extremely memorable music. Never Been Kissed? One of the best romantic comedies of the past decade.
Let’s talk more about these movies and maybe convince the film companies to put out some special editions of these gems!

    Arlington Road!

Grease 2: actually not that bad. Half good even. You’d be surprised. But as for really good films that were dismissed, check out Nothing In Common with Tom Hanks and Jackie Gleason. Or maybe Creator with Peter O’Toole and Vincent Spano. It’s hilarious and occasionally heartbreaking (“Sonofabitch!!”). Lastly, A Wedding is a Robert Altman film you never hear about, but it’s as funny as anything he’s ever done.
