EW.com Associate Picture Editor Connie Yu was doing research for an upcoming Sopranos gallery when she came across these two photos of the family; at left, as they appeared when the series debuted in 1999, and at right, as they appear now, going into the final season. We were struck by how much the kids have changed in eight years. Yeah, duh, but still, it seems like only yesterday when Meadow (Jamie-Lynn Sigler) was a cheerful high school chorister beginning to think about college, and A.J. (Robert Iler) was just a budding juvenile delinquent. Ah, good times.

Oh, the things I would do to Meadow…
Well, she did play Heidi Fleiss, so in that role there were lots of things many people did to Meadow. That said,
Ms. Sigler grew up to become a very pretty young lady.
For some reason, I liked young idiotic AJ more than Emo-haired-getting-sex-from-a-hottie-Dominican AJ.
I can’t get HBO anymore thanks to Comcast. Will someone please tivo the show for me?

Yeah, it’s amazing how much they’ve changed over the years. Tony’s has gotten fatter and balder (I think), Meadow’s turned into a woman, and AJ went from the little butterball he was in season 1 to a really lean kid. I think the only one who really hasn’t changed is Carmela.
