Ok, blower's daughter I respect that...but think about this: Tina is a 'nothing' character. What do we know about her? Zero! Does she have sisters and brothers? Who are her parents? Where did she grow up? etc. And why is this? Because her character is completely overshadowed by Bette and thier relationship. They could do SO much more with Tina, but only if she is not with Bette i'm afraid. Which is crappy as they were pretty cute together, but onwards and upwards!

Hey...what's all the fuss about Jodi and Bette I think they r 2 great actresses and work well on screen together. Jodi makes Bette smile and what a beautiful smile it is...It's great to see bette back in the saddle, not to mention extraordinarily HOT. Bette and Tina are the past, when has the l word ever dwelt on the past- give up the ghost guys!

I have to agree that this season did not come close to the previous three in terms of story arcs or character development. But, as a lesbian, this is the still the closest thing I have on television that reflects my own life and my emotions. So even though I think previous seasons have been better written, it is still my favorite show on tv. No show is perfect. They all have growing pains. And as far as Bette and Tina go, I would love to see them get back together. Those of us in the community know that it is very realistic for exes to get back together. I think when women are intimate a bond is formed that cant be broken, even when they separate. I personally think they just fit together, and they dont seem comfortable in other relationships.

I agree there is no consistency between seasons! They completely drop storylines and make up new ones at the writers' convenience.. the indecision shows thru onscreen. They should have had a storyboard mapped before the series even started, with options in case actors had to leave. And yes, much of the acting is horrific compared with other showtime series (Dexter, was Six Feet Under showtime?). Still feel obligated to watch it. sigh. This last episode made NO sense in the arc of the season.
