J.J. Abrams has done it. So has Joss Whedon. But my favorite guest director of NBC’s The Office? Ken Burns. Okay, so the noted jazz and baseball documentarian hasn’t actually stepped behind the camera for an episode of the mockumentary sitcom, but the crazy kids over at Low Culture have created a hilarious Burns-ian faux-documentary entitled "Divided States" that addresses the real issue that has torn our country asunder: Pam vs. Karen. And no matter which team you favor in this TV "tug of love," you’ll appreciate this little gem. Totes.

That was good. Love “Totes.”! LOL What is BOVS or whatever?
HILARIOUS
but I’m totally team pam.
Loved it. Have to say I am Team Pam as well.
I’ll bet Dwight had something to do with the North Korean missile.
That was lame!
Team Karen. Damn it, I always pick the losers.
Video was kinda weak. Although nice effect with the sepia tone.
They totally captures that PBS documentary vibe with that incessant violin! And I’m so glad “totes” is catching on. I’m also hoping “What’s the diffy,” and “Hilar,” enters our spoken lexicon so I don’t feel like a freak saying them!
