There are some trailers that look so soul-crushingly awful, I instinctively start making fun of the movie without even seeing it. Read the full post.

Hmm…Just figured out I must be the only straight guy that reads this stuff. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
I think Movie critics are over-rated. there is always tht critic who’ll pan a movie not regarding how good it is.
Not every movie is designed to make u wonder and marvel on some brilliant level.
Sometimes a movie just wants to make u loose urself in some senseless and blase plot. Last King of Scotland, Babel, and the Queen are all critically acclaimed yet have not gotten half as much audience(put together) as Epic Movie which was critically panned!
Nevertheless, i still like reading ur column, Mr Slezak and have it on my favorites Tab in my browser. Keep doing what u do…
Slezak, I’ve been waiting for a picture of you and you give us… half a face in shadow? Shame.
Wild Hogs is already a classic. Remember watching American Pie, or Old School and you knew you were already watching a classic. Same thing with Wild Hogs. This is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. The critics are showing their true colors by bashing this film. The audience is already turning on them for their incompetent analysis of the film. You have to wonder if these critics even bothered to watch the film. I was listening to a Chicago movie cynic, I mean critic, on radio saying that within the first 3 minutes he had already decided that it was not funny. It’s a comedy. Sit back, relax and take that stick out of your butt and laugh a little. Or in this case a lot. He also went on to say that there was not a single laugh in the entire movie and was urging desperately for people not too see the film. This begs the question, why are critics trying so hard to keep people away from an unbelievably funny movie? Wonder if it touched a nerve with them?
Funniest movie my wife and I have seen in a long time. The audience was laughing hysterically throughout the film. People were outside the theater still laughing, and my wife and I are still laughing about it a couple days later. It even received an ovation at my theater as well as many others I’ve heard. What comedy receives an ovation? I guess the critics and the audience just don’t see eye to eye. See the film and don’t rely on a critic to make up your mind for you. And if you do care what other people think then look at what the audience is saying. Fantastic film and hope we can see some sequels.

Is Fred Jones on something?
And those of you slobbering over Slezak, why aren’t you watching the Idolatry videos on this site? He’s in every one of them. Why, you can even hear his voice!
OK, has this item been buried far back enough in time? and does anyone care?
Dr. Slezak, I’ve seen you before…you have done other preivous important health saving work. I hope that all of your efforts win some type of lifetime award-winning award. Please keep on being funny (and if possible, totally real) in a world in which nothing is encouraged.
I do post a lot here under a lot of differernt names which I hope are sometimes funny. And which I hope are never hateful. Michael, I don’t know if you can even get this, or how I might say this so that you can get this, yet there have been times in my life that you have taught me not to hate. And with your wit and style. I’m sure that I cannot fully describe how much that makes you such a full hero to me. I hope this item is buried way back from the mean people, because they will flay me.
xoxo, M. Slezak. I’m sorry if I’ve not said this before….but I’ll certainly say it again.
