I had no idea so many people disliked Nicolas Cage. I think he’s one of the best actors around today. If you don’t believe me, all you need do is revisit “Raising Arizona,” “Peggy Sue Got Married,” “Moonstruck,” “Leaving Las Vegas,” and, even, “The Rock”. True, he may be making a lot of schlock these days, but an actor’s life is a short one and he needs to strike while the iron is hot. There’s no telling when those phone calls will stop coming and the roles will dry up. Cage is merely insuring that he and his family have enough to live on in his later years. I don’t think anyone can fault him for that!
