People.com has confirmed that Heather Mills and Billy Ray Cyrus are the latest to join the fourth season of Dancing With the Stars. Also on board: Joey Fatone (in the usual ex-boy-bander slot), NBA Hall of Famer Clyde Drexler (in the Jerry Rice/Emmitt Smith pro athlete slot), Leeza Gibbons, Laila Ali, Vincent "Big Pussy" Pastore, Olympic speed-skater Apolo Anton Ohno, Ian Ziering, Paulina Porizkova, and 2004 Miss USA Shandi Finnessey.
Conrad Greene, the executive producer of the popular reality show, had this to say about Mills, a.k.a. Paul McCartney’s estranged wife, an amputee who wears a prosthetic device on her left leg: "We thought it would be interesting to have someone with a disabilityon because we wanted to prove that dancing is something anyone can do. She really wants to prove to people that a disability doesn’t hamper you in any way."
I’m willing to bet that the next winner of DWTS will be Heather Mills. Are the judges really going to critique a lady with a prosthetic leg? Am I being unfair?
