'O.C.' Deathwatch: Kirsten used to have a perm and other sundries

Yes! Flashbacks episode! We’ve seen a few snippets of what Newport life was like pre-’03, but tonight’s (excluding the painful high school Kiki-Jimmy exchanges) rocked. Read the full post.

I’m just glad I wasn’t the only one disappointed that Julie ended up with Frank instead of Bullit. I figured we were supposed to root for ‘true love’, but Bullit was just much better, and I loved seeing him and Kaitlin interact. Grrrrr! Other than that, another entertaining episode! I’m gonna miss it when it’s gone!

I have to agree this was a great episode except for frank frank as a good guy with ryan behaind him sucks expecially since there are only 4 episodes left(Ryan being friends with His father is so season 9) and we need to see Ryan with the Cohens. To bad they dont get trapped together and talk next week. Kirsten talk about Ryan coming into there lives just as she talked about a new baby but Ryan still calls her Seths Mom :( Here to a poignet ending to bad we cant get a full season. 5 might be a push but 5 more episodes sans Franlk would be nice

Im SOOO sick of the whole tree hugger Summer. Cant stand it at all. DOnt wanna here about sea otters and saving groundhogs. So sad the OC is leaving but the road they took Summer on this season makes it almost unbearable to watch. Very Corny.

it just occurred to me that if marisa was still alive, and julie was engaged to frank..that would make ryan and marisa step-brother and step-sister..creepy!! and is dr. roberts going to allow julie to stay in his manse now that she’s with frank?? and why didn’t they have peter gallagher’s actual son, david, from 7th heaven, play him in college?
and thanks annie for the screen cap of the photo…it flashed so fast that i thought the other couple was caleb and kirsten’s mother..i didn’t see the baby at all…jimmy sure was rockin’ the 80s look!!!

Julie choosing ‘love’ over money – finally. Taylor siding with Frank – she just loves love. Ryan making up with his father – he follows Taylor’s lead. I personally liked this episode and hate to see them go!

fyi: david gallagher is not peter’s son. according to imdb, his parents are named vince and elena. peter’s children are jamey and kathryn.
great episode. i’m sorry to see that my prediction of art imitating life appears to be true (ie adam/rachel breakup, so the writers make their relationship all funky and ambiguously break them up several times), but maybe it’ll only be temporary (as in the earthquake will bring them back together). it was also great to see julie FINALLY chose love over money, even if frank is creepy. just shows how she’s grown as a person.
the episode countdown at the end overshadowed its greatness, as it only serves as a reminder that it’s all about to end.

My FauxVo (re: VCR…I know, I know) and I have a strained relationship and I ave missed some of the best eps of the season…including this one!
Anyone know any places where I can download or view eps? (Since MySpace unceremoniously stopped streaming them…)

Yeah, Hercules is creepy! I loved the Bullit! The white-collar-dad isn’t realistic at all. He is the antipode of Ryan and fits even better in New Port than his son who was there for 4 years…

very cool ep! i loved it! i hope, the cw will take the o.c. up… o.c. julie cooper!!!

well its kind of a way to make the show a little more interesting this season to do the flash backs but if they did it too much it might drive me crazy.
