I just sat through “The Town” which was actually a really good movie, but shortly before it started a mother came in with her 3 year old and I just felt horribly uncomfortable and bothered. As a mother(and even before I had kids) I found it horrifying when I saw these poor kids at the movies. I sat through Terminator 3 and the little girl cried “Why did he kill her mommy?!” I mean, what the heck? Where are peoples brains. I think more people need to worry about their kids rather than their social life. Had a baby? Well GROW UP! And movies should be NC-17 because apparently parents are too stupid to decide for themselves anymore…..
I agree that parents shouldn’t bring young children to R-rated movies. I’m actually doing a paper on the problem, and I want to look at the article that you’re referring to here. I clicked on the link, but it said the page couldn’t be found. could you tell me the name of the article? or the current URL? thanks
