The cast fits the concept of MAGNUM perfectly !! With the future of Dirk Pitt movies a foregone conclusion thanks to the overzealous and asinine lawsuit from Clive”the Jive” Cussler,it’s good to see these guys and their great chemistry put to good use and MAGNUM is best vehicle for their talents. Now maybe they can start a francise in the action adventure genre. The show always had light humor,after all THE ROCKFORD FILES was it’s inspiration. So a little humor in the movie should work as well and this is the cast to do it. Tom Selleck is too old and should stick to cable westerns and tv movies. Outstanding choice,whether you consider a sequel to SAHARA or not,bar none !

Let Tom Selleck rest on his laurels. Get McConaughey,Zahn,and Macy on MAGNUM and get this project going. Let’s not make the same stupid mistake that Clive “the Jive” Cussler,world’s most egocentric and crybaby author, is now making with his ill-conceived lawsuit.
