I think it might be comments like some of these that make Fametracker’s “sneak peak” at EW Letters to the Editor feature so quietly hysterical.
bryant — thanks for thinking i don’t get it — what i was referring to is the fact that people got so up in arms (on this very popwatch blog!) over elisabeth’s perceived affront too. joke (whitney) or not (elisabeth), the whole thing is stupid!
Debbie cuntsler does not sound like whitney postorek or whatever… not even close. i just don’t get it… suck it up.
Dear,
I understand your position. It feels bad to feel singled out, made a mockery of. It feels very bad.
My insight is only that this premises is the foundation of all that SNL is and has ever been and take it as a complement that you are significant enough a person to merit this attention.
You are satireworthy! What a measure of your recognizability!
Laugh at the joke, keep on being you.
Err… Was this supposed to be funny? Or sarcastic? Well, it’s just plainly ridiculous. Seriously.
Wow. And you get paid to write crappy columns? World doesn’t make sense anymore.
You just never stop, whit, do you?
I can seriously not believe that you got paid to write this lousy, unfunny, uninteresting column. Unbelievable.
I have no comment about the writer – except to say that WAS a career changing moment. I don’t think Jake had a problem with being taken serious in Hollywood. I think no one was sure of his ability to be bankable in other forums. I believe the SNL performance has set him free! Jake, you deserve all the wonderful things coming your way!
I am giving up on watching Saturday Night Live! I am tired of wasting valuable Tivo space on bad skits, bad impressions and bad actors who should go back to either Groundlings or Second City to re-learn the craft of sketch comedy.
I either have to start watching MadTV or…get a life!
C’mon! A terrible column and you beff on SNL for no reason other then you’re a loser
if you want to find more music, traditions and video of a country i would advise you to visit a very good page
