As a 80′s child, I would love a G’N'R reunion, if it involved the REAL Guns ‘N’ Roses! I still like AXl, but this ain’t the real thing….

No offense to any G N R fans (my sisters would kill me & hang me by one of Axl’s old bandanas) but WHO THE HELL CARES?!? Rock albums don’t sell nearly as well as they did in the 80′s or even 90′s, I mean HELL 4 of the top 10 sellers of this year are Country cds, with the #1 selling cd being by Carrie Underwood!!
I’m going out on a limb and saying this now. I feel bad for every record rep involved in promoting this project IF it ever does see the light of day on March 3rd, 2007. EVEN IF it successfully debuts nicely, no rock albums have held longevity on the charts except for Nickelback, and well, we’ve seen how everyone agrees to disagree on those damn Canadians! I think that the album is going to fail commercially, & I think everyone will finally give up hope that GNR can match the magic of the yesteryears. FYI wouldn’t it be like TOTALLY RAD IF THE NEW VELVET REVOLVER CD OUTSELLS “CHINESE DEMOCRACY”???

Having recently seen the “new” Guns in concert, I have to say–Axl still has it and they still put on the best rock show I have ever seen. I heard a few of the new songs at the show, and if they are any indication, this album is going to be incredible. Long-suffering Guns fans have been waiting for a decade for this album to surface, and it’s exciting to see a light at the end of the tunnel.
