Dear William Shatner,
I have stood by you for a long time. When Takai was telling Howard Stern that he hated your guts, I pointed people to the fact that you and Nimoy were best friends. When people told me they thought you couldn’t act, I showed them Free Enterprise, and the first season of Boston Legal. When people complained about your Mr. Tamborine Man cover, I gave them a copy of Has Been, which I considered to be one of the best albums of ’04. But, what can I do now, Bill? Sure, I can show people that deal or no deal stars Howie Mandel, a sure candidate for Brett Colbo’s weekly “People who are Dead Inside” column. And sure, I can point to the fact that you probably had nothing to do with this advertisement (or the similarly themed ad for your own celebrity roast). But, please, for all of us, save yourself, Billium, save yourself.

I guess it’s just me, but I hate this guy. He’s gone from a passable actor, (he has never been a fine actor), to the class clown.
I am tired of his attempts at remaining relevant. His hosting gig on Iron Chef was painful to watch.
God, I hate William Shatner.
