I agree completely with John. The main problem is that masses today seem to love morons. This guy is plain and simple an absolute fool with an extremely low IQ. The other problem is that the masses do not really get music. Most of them are simply sheep without an original musical thought, so they need the industry to tell them what is good and cool and they just follow. Basically John is right. Anyone who GETS music obviously understands that rap has very little to do with music. By the way, given that Kanye tends to introduce the race card whenever he can. How about this one? How can the race responsible for what made American Music great (Scott Joplin, Ella F, Duke E, Aretha F, Marvin G, Chuck B, Louis A, Michael J.,Whitney H. etc.) be reduced to these Neanderthals who dominate the charts today?

Kanye West’s music is good? Wake up people, anyone could do this stuff. Rapping is just talking, it has nothing to do with music in the least bit. The only reason this crap got of the ground is because of MTV videos in the first place. He should be kissing their ass, but he’s to stupid to know the truth. Hip-hop only exists because of technology that enables sampling (of real music) or drum machines and sequencers to provide the background music or drumbeats for these morons to talk over. I play jazz, classical and rock music, and it requires real talent. I actually write songs from the ground up, with no electronics whatsoever. Record labels don’t care about talent anymore, they only care about what sells, and unfortunately it’s garbage like hip-hop these days rather than real music. I know people that graduated from Juliard who have to settle for teaching jobs because stupid record companies don’t want to give music a chance anymore, it’s sad. DJ’s aren’t musicians either, any moron can scratch a record but it’s way harder to play an actual musical instrument.

Is he the only “celebrity” that throws fits? For the longest we have heard stories of those who only want certain color M&M’S, room color, telephone throwing, etc.. I am in no way defending him, just speaking truth. Personally, I think he is a bombastic jerk, but he can be just like other so-called stars.

Why is hip-hop still around? This is typical of Kayne or many a hip-hop artist (remember 50 Cent b*tching over losing to Evanescence in the MTV New Artist category win a few years ago).
Anyway its the Eupropean Awards, why is it open to foreign artists? It’s to showcase Euro talent. The airwaves are too over-saturated with imported music.
